ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ugh, with reports that there's tension between the Renters and Sterling, if we see him anywhere near the clubafter deadline day I'll be fucking fuming!

We’ve not signed our annual Chav over-priced useless dud yet this summer. Expect Sterling or Mudryk to arrive and soak up £300k a week any time soon!

I called it a few days ago about Sterling. Arteta used to like him, plays both flanks (badly), scored a few goals 5 years ago.........I'm betting Arteta goes in with a fucked up 30m bid which the Chavs will bite our arm off for!!

🚨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Brentford manager Thomas Frank: “Things are happening for Ivan Toney so we decided not to involve him in the squad”.

“There’s interest, nothing closed yet but things are happening”, told Sky. - @FabrizioRomano
Al Ahli remain in talks to sign Ivan Toney after £35m bid rejected by Brentford last week.

Negotiations ongoing on both player and club side, still waiting for Toney and his family’s decision.

As exclusively revealed, he’s number one target with two more names on the list.- @FabrizioRomano

Aw come on augster. Be fair. Poor old Edu must be exhausted patting himself on the back for offloading a couple of players four years ago. You can't seriously expect him to be now doing the bare minimum required of his job, can you? Very unfair of you buddy. Very unfair. :-P

There have been reports that Everton have enquired about Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal.

Any move for Eddie Nketiah by Everton relies on Dominic Calvert-Lewin leaving the club first.

i just dont get it, Everton are a club in the same league as us, we absolutely burnt them with Iwobi, and now when one shit striker wants out to come back to Arsenal to be utterly embarrassed again.......what these clubs do be thinking in beyond me!

Tbf xgt, Chelsea supporters must have the same conversation about us. It’s embarrassing how many times they’ve mugged us.
