Mikel Merino

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

After the most boring and dragged out transfer saga, he’s officially here.

Well, he better be bloody good if it meant selling ESR and putting the Portuguese pussy out on loan.

Arsene would be proud.

He's a DM not an eight from my understanding, gives Deccas more licence and keeps Partey out the side.

I do Midz, it’s why I spend my life frustrated when we don’t punch our weight. For my entire life I’ve longed to see us replicate a 1930s style dominance, but when it’s looked possible the club and/or manager have lacked ambition and made bad decisions. It’s why I’ve got the hard bitten, rather negative mindset.

Still, there’s no other club that I would have wanted to support. True football royalty. To be born an Englishman, a Londoner and a Gooner is to win the lottery of life.

That might get some pushback from one or two of our Irish brothers, even though deep down they know it’s true.

I think you'll find its: to be born a Dubliner and a Gooner is to win the lottery of life, though carrying around a massive schlong can be exhausting.

*and no, "massive schlong" is not a euphemism for "rodders"!

Born a Dubliner eh? I read James Joyce's "The Dubliners" many years ago and it doesn't paint a pretty picture. Mind you, I'm sure you'll blame British rule for that.

As for having a massive schlong, it's a gene thing, so do you have some English blood in you? :rubchin:

This is the thanks I and my countrymen get for years of impregnating your Ingerlish women? :(

Shameful.... just shameful.... :(
