As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Wouldn’t be surprised if during, or just after, the international break we confirm the injury wasn’t “as bad as first feared” and he’s in the squad for the Spurs game.
Huh, you do mena the opposite right! This is arsenal.
Don’t know why everyone’s getting up the wall about his injury. After all, we know we can rely on Mr Vacant Look Partey and old man Jorginho, trundling on in his bath chair.
That kind of injury will probably weaken his shoulder from now on as well. You couldn't make it up.
Yep good point. Recurring shoulder injury like the dubachy(?) The french right back we had from Newcastle.
Disastrous window. A back up defender is the sum total of improvements.
Massively so frustrating yet thr fan boys will say it's a good window and I told you so when we start we'll till it inevitable goes wrong over thebpacked december and we fall short coke season end and they all disappear from here. Again.
What’s all this negativity. It’s an unfortunate shoulder injury, big Gabby fell on top of him, it happens. There’s a two week international break after the weekend so should soften blow. It’s a long season.

It will be interesting to see how this post ages.
Our negativity is based on 15+ years of "injury hampered player" experience. We already have perma crock Jesus back on the treatment table, alongside Timber, who we can only hope doesn't follow the usual constantly injured pattern that we've seen so many times before. Now new boy Merino is crippled. As Tee Cee said above, shoulder injuries often result in a permanent weakness...let's hope not.
Bottom line, given our record, optimism is the more questionable position to hold.
Btw, I think it was "Gabbi" Martinelli that fell on him rather than Gabriel, but I could be wrong.
