Latest from the Norway team doctor on Odegaard's injury.

His early estimation is at least three weeks and that it's unlikely Odegaard will be available for Norway in the next international break. He does not believe there is any fracture.
December then.

I admire your Positivity GR.

I am usually cautiously Optimistic (at least compared to some doom mongers on here) But I am 'Concerned" by the absence of Rice and Odegaard as the former tends to Boss the Midfield whilst the latter is the hub around which much of our Press and Creativity occurs.Don't know if Calafiori or Tomiyasu are going to be available (*)

As others have said it will depend on the Starting line-up; the last thing we need is the Scum getting an early goal or decision (I think the odds are 7 out of 10 times they Get a Pen ... usually Pot Poodle diving)

I think Trossard should start ahead of the out-of-form Martinelli.

I was feeling positive before these injuries as spurs are a bit shit.
Will be interesting to see how we line up. Presumably Partey and Jorginho in midfield which doesn’t inspire much confidence but not sure who’ll play as our attacking midfielder? Bit light there with ESR and Vieira gone.
I don’t mind Havertz up top as much as many on here do but he’s definitely less effective in the number 10 role. However, not sure who else would play there unless we see a change in formation or a very fluid line up with the likes of trossard, martinelli and/or Sterling switching between central and wider roles

Yeah! I get the feeling Sterling will Start or at least come on from the Bench at some point, again depending on how the game is going, we could certainly use it pace to stretch them, perhaps with him and Martinelli on the Flanks to keep their full-backs occupied and so unable to press too far forward which is which Angedepopopoolous likes to do.

Don't worry, there's still 3 days of training to get through without another injury.

A number of posters believe Odegaard doesn’t turn up in the big games, so missing spurs and city away shouldn’t matter.

Personally I believe we are a better team with him in, regardless who the opposition is.
Agreed. I do believe he often goes missing in big games, but of the players we have he is the most creative in the centre and even when he is having an anonymous game he still has a game winning pass in his locker. Is he world class? No not even near. But are we a better team with him in it? Yes.

Surely three at the back with White alongside the two centre backs plus two speedy wing backs to get up the pitch and some crosses in for our non existent target man! Will be tough. Any other formation and I think we're done for.
Where is ESR when you really need him? Oh yeah Mikel knows best.

We'll get a least a point. They are poor and if we get on top of them early, they'll collapse.

What keeps me going is remembering the utter fucking shitness of the middlesex geebags. They can't win this game. It's up to us. We could lose it. But I'm hoping a few of the peripheral players will step up and we will beat the scum. 8)

Always in our shadow. And covered in the shit of syphilis riddled prostitutes.

I reckon this is how we will line up

Raya
White Saliba Gabriel Timber
Jorginho Partey
Martinelli trossard Saka
Havertz

Perhaps Sterling gets a start over Martinelli. I hope he doesn’t try Havertz in the number 10 role. I can’t see Trossard being as effective as odegaard with his passing but think he’s probably the best option there.

I can see this game going either way, although no chance they will finish above us in the league!
