presume its Jorginho in the middle?

didnt he cost us 3 points the last time he got a start?

all i know is this is a hope for the best game, there's certainly enough about us to worry the spuds and win but then when you add in legoheads legendary in game management the usual shitting of the bed from at least Partey and Gabriel.
Who would you play in his place?

expected line up..think its best we can muster

that midfield looks slow and ponderous....totally relying on our defence to keep it tight...and nick a goal at the other end

Arsenal XI: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Jorginho, Partey; Saka, Havertz, Trossard, Martinelli
Probably as strong as we could go McD.Be interesting to see who goes where up top :rubchin: is Havertz off the front 3 or is it Trossard :rubchin: I'd go with Havertz in the 10 and put Trossard left with Martinelli through the middle.

and just take a look at the bench for examples of just how unbelievably paper thin our squad is, holy shit....you can almost feel the transfer markets of the last 4 years coming back to haunt us. That bench wouldn't make the bench of any other premier league team, most of them pissed off that they have to travel for a game that they know the manager has no intention of playing them in.

There nobody to play in his place, paper thin squad (not like there was an oppertunity to improve it anytime recently). But in middle of the park i dont think is the place for a player whose already been caught out leading to points being dropped

Keep it tight and we'll be fine. They are fucking shit. We're more than capable of getting the job done.

That's kinda my point. If Rice was available or even Merino was fit, Jorginho wouldn't start.

I know, i hear ya, and if he slams in a winner i'll be cheering as loud as any of us.......but for me he's a another liability chav reject who should be nowhere near that squad. and now we've 2 on the pitch and one on the bench, , Its disappointing to see that all!

Every chance that we will be 8 pts adrift of City after our next 2 games. Effectively season over. Just need to attack attack attack tomo to have any chance. Where is ESR when you need him? Cheers Mikel you mastermind.
Attack attack is what Spurs do. We defend defend and sucker punch sucker punch.

Agreed. Given our depleted line up, these are the tactics I’ve been thinking we should use.
All set up for smash and grab if Temu Pep can channel his inner George Graham spirit

Hard to predict which is a good thing. It looks like an interchanging forward line.

No other game like this for me as usual. Positively bricking it, especially with the weakened side.

If we do get a result, think it might be old school ala George Graham era.
