Half time, piss poor really. never really in trouble, but offering nothing in the attacking third. No surprise with our front two of Havertz and Jesus. Partey a liability in centre mid and Rice very average so far this season.

We have an inability to hurt the opposition up front and no surprise how set piece goals have become so important, because we're lacking in open play, especially with Odegaard missing. He sometimes infuriates by holding things up, but we have zero creativity in centre mid or upfront without him.

If we go with this team on Sunday, we'll get comfortably beaten. We'll be trying to sit deep and keep it tight, but if (when?) they score, we'll be fucked, because we haven't got the tools to threaten their defence.

This is being played with all the intensity of 2 teams who know it’s game 1 of an 8 game mini league.

The group stages of the euros were so boring and lacking jepordy that I barely watched a minute of it and by the time the knockouts came around I’d lost complete interest in the tournament.

Same will happen here, impossible not to qualify for the knockouts so you’ve to endure 8 nothing games along the way.
