As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
It's funny cos I have argued for past couple of seasons that ONE of the reasons (not the only reason) that we appear to have progressed under the cone boy is that our rivals had nosedived at the same time - the fan boys argued that it is impossible to compete with the state owned citeeh cheats, so how ironic is it that now we have a season where they slide to a beatable level, it looks like it will be a rival team who takes advantage of their dip ? How frustrating would it be if the team that took advantage of citeeh's slide is a team that bought ZERO outfield players last summer and are still outperforming us ?
I tipped us to finish second comfortably and we still could cos the victims are clearly not all that either, but they have momentum in their corner at the mo, plus they have experienced leadership who know how to win
I've said there has been a dip in the quality and performances of the teams we were "rivals" with for that top two or three places over the last couple of years but the cultists can't see that, they blindly maintain it's only down to Arteta's genius and brilliance....
Cheaty will spend whatever it takes in January and win it at a canter again. The victims will either end up second or third and we'll be anywhere from second to fourth I reckon. It all depends what runs of wins each team goes on and in our case how many injuries our paper thin squad can survive.
Again I cannot understand, in an era where every single detail is under the public microscope, how are fans not questioning the depth of our squad after spending almost £800m ? I would have expected that edu's departure last week would have shone spotlight on the transfer shambles, but again nada - everyone makes comments about a paper thin squad, but nobody asks why Under the senile french fool we had paper thin squads cos we were not spending money and we had a lot of injury prone players, but these c.unts have spent almost £800m and 2 or 3 players out brings us to our knees ffs

I've bad news for ya, augster old buddy: a hell of a lot of our fans are exactly as the clown Arsenal fan was portrayed on the Fast Show - football illiterates that know very little about the game, turn up in all the merch, and buy all the shit the club sells them, both figuratively and physically. And to that big old chunk of our fanbase we on this forum are the fools, the deluded, the hysterical ones......
They are sheep. That's why they don't question these things. They are sheep.
We've always had that element in our fanbase. We are mocked constantly for it in grounds and on the interwebs.
Arteta should go at the end of the season. 5 years without a major trophy at a club that considers itself a big club is unacceptable. He cant use the excuse that he wasn't backed financially. He has spent £800m. At any other big club in Europe he would have been sacked

Absolutely. But you'll have the cultists on now screeching "what do you want? To be chavski and hire a new manager every season?!"
There's never a middle ground with idiots. No one on here has ever said they want to hire em and fire em like the chav or the scum. But as you say five years without a trophy at a supposedly big club is not good enough. Time for him to deliver or go.
He's been given every chance, and as much as I have slated the Kroenke's on here for years, they have backed him massively. Now they need to do the other part of being leaders of the club, and that is remove a failing manager.
Lots of factors still in play and it's way too early to write us off!
We've played the most teams in the top 8 and most have been away from home.
In Our next 9 PL games, we are at home in 6 games and 3 away, at Wet spam, Fulham and Palace. If we don't drop more than 6 points in those 9 games we'll actually be in a better place than we were last season at the turn of the year.
The AFCON starts in December and goes on till mid January....... Salah should be gone for most of it, Liverpool will miss him massively.
City are playing shit, they really are. I stick by my prediction that city are not winning the league this season.
Hopefully our players can regain some fitness during the break, we've either had lots of injuries or players have been playing 80-90% fit most of the season.
We still have a good chance but we need to up a game for sure.
Been saying it for ages now..... The title is coming home. We are the best team in the league.
Bindippers will fall apart soon when Salah trots off to AFCON in mid December

I thought this too but there is no Afcon during this season.
Need City level consistency from last season to overhaul Liverpool and I don’t think we have it in us personally unless we strengthen in January.
85points will be enough and we are heaving for high 70s, low 80s at best. The table is going to look like the 202/23 table minus City.
