I thought in first half we were bright, inventive, and played with real tempo - in the last 30 mins I thought we were slow, ponderous, lethargic and inviting trouble onto ourselves. No doubt some will counter with comments about controlling the game and being professional, but to me we lack the killer instinct that the successful teams have - klopp teams in their prime or pep's teams in their prime would have smashed forest for another 2 or 3 goals today, but we lack that hunger for greatness and just look to do enough to win the games. Again I know we werent at full strength today, but this was notts forest we were playing, and despite their recent good run, they are a team of bottom 6 level only
Realistically we wont win any big prizes as long as jesus, sterling and zinchenko are getting game time - imo as long as they are in the matchday squad, the cone boy will find a way to bring them on or start them, and that is why they need to be gone from the club totally. Does anybody realistically see the cone boy doing that ? I dont
