Re: Everton H Sat Dec 14th KO 3pm
Game's up for this set-up. Peaked last season and regressed badly this term. The manager is out of ideas and it's become monotonous and boring.
Too slow and one dimensional. It's all about the right flank with Saka and Odegaard. Nullify that and we have nothing else to offer. No creativity in midfield, a weak left flank and not one player that even resembles a goal scoring striker. Is that what 5 years at the helm and £800 million spent gets you?
A few of us said on here at the close of the summer transfer window....the abject failure to add a quality striker and midfielder left Arteta with no excuses if things went badly. It's on him.

10 minutes of injury time at Anfield, gave them every chance at least but they still dropped points.
City will win the legaue again mark my words. Liverpool are fuck all good either. City will sign in January and romp home with 15 wins.

And to be 100% honest, they are not that good. They are going to win the title virtually by default. It's like all the usual competition has taken the season off........we certainly have.cameron326 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 4:55 pmLiverpool getting a point coming behind twice despite playing the whole game with 10 men. We are nowhere near their level.
And most of the games we have lost is because we lack a lethal finisher......and that's on Arteta.
Who goes out and buys a striker who isn't good enough to start?

He brings in sub standard Jesus, and then for good measure, tops it off by bringing in Sterling

Can't disagree, Rodders. No change of tactic to account for the opposition approach or change in approach. The whole fucking world knew what they were going to do today and Arteta did nothing different. You need to move the ball quickly, run at them or have a fucking goalscorer who can create space in the box by dragging defenders out the way. He's done nothing to win that game today, fucking nothing. Points pissed away week after week on another fucking never-will-be squad and manager. Last chance saloon is get Isaak in in January. Or fucking fuck off.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 4:59 pmDefender dribbles up to the half way knee line with the ball. Stops. Passes it sideways to another player who stops and looks around. Another sideways pass. Backwards. Sideways.
It’s Saka or bust. There’s zero point in even trying to play it down the left to that brain dead fuckwit c.unt that couldn’t stay on side last week.
Fuck off the whole lot of the c.unts. Jesus came on and hid another fucking coward scum bastard.

Monumentally pissed off.
Pissed off with that performance, pissed off that Jesus and Partey to name a few are still at the club let alone getting minutes on the pitch, pissed off with those Scouse wankers celebrating one of the worst performances I've seen in a long time, pissed off that Liverpool are running away with it and the Renters are the only threat to them.
But mostly pissed off that I put myself through it again and again. Should have been enjoying my Saturday doing some Christmas stuff with the family but instead watched that shite and will be in a bad mood until Monday.

Got a feeling it might well be the chavs who do it. Palmer scores goals and they are starting to put in proper performances rather than trying to get every manager sacked after twenty minutes. Dippers will drop away because they have to go to decent teams rather than keep playing Brentford and Bournemouth at home and Wolves and Southampton away every week. We should be five, six points clear but we're not because of the manager. It's that simple. Shit decisions, shit transfers, shit tactics.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 5:03 pm10 minutes of injury time at Anfield, gave them every chance at least but they still dropped points.

Unfortunately he won’t be sacked though will he?Linighans there!! wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 4:56 pmWhat a shame, really wanted it to work for arteta but unfortunately he's soon to be sacked.... and hopefully this time they can get a coach who has got some experience
The way I see it now it is like this - for an increasing number of match going fans every match is a 1 off game, there are so many matches that context has gone out of the window.
Draw today - no problem, there will be another meaningless European match along soon to dig the fraud out of a hole.
And Arteta is a fraud - no doubt about it now. Spending loads of money has made us compete yes, but anyone could do that.
He has won NOTHING in each of the full seasons that he has been manager and that doesn’t look like changing anytime soon.
Right - it’s Saturday night. I’m off to get hammered!!

Same two words: Victor and Osimhen. Whether it was Edu or Arteta who didn't go in for him in August, it was professional negligence. One of them at least had the decency to fuck off, the other is now a symptom of the same atrophy that left Wenger in place nearly a decade after he should have been moved on.

Declan Rice has completely morphed into Smith Rowe, blowing out his arse after 20 minutes of every game and subbed off after an hour looking like he can barely stand.
Guy looks like he needs 2 months off to rest, which with 3 games a week for the next 6 months coming up doesn’t bode well.

I’d love to believe it, but history ain’t on our side of Arsenal as a club doing what needs to be done
