As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
True Augie but the players will know that pressure as that’s been pretty much the case in the last 2 seasons when up against city when even a draw is pretty much fatal.
We just need to keep knocking off the wins, huge game again against Brighton at the weekend, win there and we’re within 3.
Pressure on then Sunday - United can’t fucking keep on losing can they
If we're still after a left back, their guy Lewis-Potter looked useful. Knee jerk reaction, because haven't really seen anything else of him, but he played well tonight. The left back at Fulham, Robinson, also looks good.
If Liverpool win as expected at the weekend then their record vs the rest of the league minus us will be W15 D2 L1. That’s pretty crazy, and hard to see them replicating that with by my reckoning seven very tricky away fixtures in the second half of the season. Rather than dreaming of overtaking them, closing the gap to 4-5 points before the Anfield is a more realistic target. Beat them there and then anything could happen in the final two games for which they’d be under huge pressure.
Merino hasn't impressed so far that's true, but lads it's far too early to write him off. He might come good. Let's hope so.
Now, before I'm completely misquoted, no I'm not saying he is brilliant and no I'm not saying he is shit. We have not seen enough of him on the pitch regularly to make that call.
What the fuck is the matter with you?! Stop equivocating, this is the Online Gooner, so is he brilliant or shit ffs???
