The old most goals in a calender Yr came up in his press conference today, now if only the season was from jan to December then we'd win everything
Apparently a golden calendar of 2024 is being presented on the pitch tomorrow

Wonderful news. It’ll be just like a trophy. Perhaps Mikel will adapt a famous Wenger quote and tell us “The first trophy to win every year is the calendar year trophy.”

An absolute peach from his presser today - when asked what profile of player he wants to bring to the club, he said he wants someone who can bring an impact to the team and added he didn't want just another body in the squad, from the man doing just that with Sterling, comical

Ah, but don’t you see? Mkll is only looking for super top top quality.

Is it the nostalgia that’s giving us a warm feeling, or is it where we’ve shit ourselves for fear of another few years of failure and double talk? I think I know. :(

TWO ARSENE WENGERS........THERE'S ONLY TWO ARSENE WENGERS

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

The internal market is open Mikel - will it be Tomiyasu or White who win the 'like a new signing' accolade this window?

I would have got away with it too if it wasn't for that pesky Isak

Abject failure. Fuck off out the club, you fucking snake oil salesman. We've seen through it all now and everyone's had enough. Fuck off to Spain and manage one of their fucking nothing clubs that are about your level. Fucking charlatan.

^^This and more

Emery not fit to manage a big club apparently where as this goon's had 5 years and 700 million and supposedly is?

The Kroenkes had a bloke who set them back 10 years and now have a bloke who will have them stuck where they are for 10 more. Makes you wonder what the fuck they actually want

If someone offered me a choice of beating Tottenham on Wednesday or losing if I could be sure it would be the straw that breaks the camel's back with the board on keeping Arteta (as it should)....well I won't say what I'd pick because (a) it is possibly a hypothetical and false dichotomy and (b) I respect that there are some among us that would rather have their bollocks chopped off than ever lose to Tottenham regardless of the trade-off or the bigger picture.

But if we somehow beat them and any of the melts among our modern customer base start singing "we've got Super Mik Arteta"......

I think the younger one, the one with the beard that looks about 18, knows that the supporters can turn quickly and won't want to go down the route of being seen to accept mediocrity and the club regressing. Whilst I don't see anything changing that soon, I don't think we'll see contract extensions without winning anything. They've been burned twice before with the Wanker years and the European Super League and would have been very close to sacking Arteta if not for empty grounds during Covid. He's not got anywhere near enough credit in the bank or trophies to survive a Klopp at the dippers style few poor seasons. Things turn very quickly at our place and the rumblings about not getting in the right players are reminding too many of us of the Wankers years and the supporters will start getting more and more restless. I reckon if he wins nothing this season, which is what will happen, serious questions will be asked and we may well see a change. The image of tolerating failure can't happen again.

In which case get the banners back out and start the in fighting and the half empty ground. This clown is setting us back. I was delighted when we sold Nketiah and my Palace supporting mates tell me we pulled their pants down. I tell them Real Sociedad did the same to us when they took all the money back from us to sign that lamppost in midfield. That's the mark of the man

I'm at Wenger levels of hatred with Arteta. I began to hate Wenger as soon as I seen him as someone putting his own needs above the club and that Is exactly what Arteta is doing. Havertz was fucking shit today and the only reason he is at the club is because the arrogant cùnt in charge decided to feed his ego more by trying to fix him  and wasting 60 million to do so. The situation up front is comical, and in true Arteta style, he is almost proud of refusing to buy a striker. Arteta Is such a clueless cùnt that at a time when he is realising that Sterling is shit, he will now be forced to play him as when you completely ignore the need for attacking players, you end up forced to rely on any twat, no matter how shit. Nketiah should have refused to leave because he'd have seen game time at this stage, such is the comical state of things :suicide:

I think I’m even beyond Wenger hatred - Wenger was still able to win trophies even towards the very end.

Arteta has now won just TWO FA Cup ties in his 5 full seasons at the club. There are lower league clubs that have had more FA Cup success than us in recent years.

This manager is a total fraud - propped up his whole managerial career by Saka.
I will support the team v Spurs on Wednesday but after that I want us to lose lose Lose to get him out.

His record in cups is pathetic it really is  Last 3 seasons we've bitten the dust against Cheaty the dippers* and today against the worst manure side I can remember..A big club with a winning mentality doesn't lose 3 from 3..Amorim came to ours with Sporting and fucked us out on pens there aswell..We scraped by Porto last season on pens but shat the bed v Bayern. For the outlay of cash the return has been pathetic. Were exactly where we were later day Wenger(but without the occasional cups) were mentally weak and spineless and going nowhere under this fraud.
