As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Roberto Olabe, Real Sociedad’s director of football, is thought to be among the potential candidates for the sporting director position at Arsenal. #AFC
All those years complaining about tight fisted Kroenke.....can't really complain now.
In fact it's the opposite.....if the man knew anything about "soccer", he wouldn't give Arteta another penny.
The squad is valued more than what Arteta has spent so at the very least from a business perspective it is viable for the Kroenkes to continue funding transfers
|| Arsenal have entered the race for Juventus prime Striker target, Randal Kolo Muani [Via - @SkySport].
Muani is an interesting option imo - being honest I know next to nothing about the guy except that he is highly regarded in europe and was bought by psg who apparently since brought in luis enrique and he doesnt suit his system of playing. He is apparently available on loan so that would suit my philosophy of not allowing the cone boy to buy even one more player, and we could do a deal with option to buy which would give us first dibs in summer.
My youngest lad tells me that there is some guy claiming to be "in the know" stating that AFC had chilwell and rashford in corporate box at manu game - the chilwell one would be comical in the sense that we already have 4 or 5 capable of playing left back (plus he is injury prone), but at same time there are now whispers of zinchenko AND tierney leaving this month, so it wouldnt surprise one jot if the cone boy did sign chilwell

Leagues are won on grass not on balance sheets I still dont understand how people can laud his transfer policy and claim that his signings have increased in value, when for a lot of them he doesnt trust them enough to play them
Arteta knows what he wants. I reckon we’ll be surprised who comes in. He knows it is make and break. Jesus getting injured is probably what we needed to get the cheque book out.
