Ok Augie I am just really pissed off that we ended up in this situation , I still feel it was there for the taking but yes his injury record hasn’t been good and no doubt will have sky rocketed at Arsenal like every other *word censored* ,augie wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 3:17 pmshu wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 3:12 pmIsak with two first half goals . There were a lot of doubters on here about us signing him a year or two ago .
Just htf could Arteta sell that clown the feather and not replace him , what the fuck was he thinking .
Have to say too didn’t realise how few goals Rice and Odergaard have scored but still if we had a striker even a journeyman well there’s no point going on about it !! Arteta is responsible for this shambles
Tbf though, nobody was doubting Isak's ability, but we cannot ignore his injury record - if any club spent massive money on a player with a bad injury record and it didnt pan out then they would be slated, but if a team with as many injuries as we do did it, then there would be hell to pay
It also needs to be recognised that yes he scored another two goals today, but one was a penalty and the other took huge deflection off defender

And I am with you 100% on the feeling pissed off bit - even those of us that knew we wouldnt win the league this season are still seriously pissed off today, and as others have said already, that is more down to the fact that we dont see anything changing anytime soon. Sid (in his new guise

Agreed and tbf the time to grab him was at Sociedad unless their favourite son passed up the opportunity because he didn’t get good feedback from the hierarchy.augie wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 3:17 pmshu wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 3:12 pmIsak with two first half goals . If we spent 120 mill on Isak this summer he’d spent 80% of next season crocked guaranteed
Re: Other Matches Thread
Great second half effort by Forest
I can imagine us doing that 4-1 down up there, geed up by that fearless captain of ours

Seems like all those years of whinging to and blaming God for Everything (including the Juventus 39) and those Candle lit vigils has finally paid off.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 3:51 pmBarbie not in the cheaty squad. Based on this showing, Forest will dispatch us with minimum fuss. Odour v Calafiori, it’s not going to be pretty.
Re: Other Matches Thread
Spitty Pep sitting in his chair gobbing constantly, fucking disgusting tramp
Re: Other Matches Thread
And Calafiori will pick up knock which keeps him out to next season
Re: Other Matches Thread
Everything Liverpool do is at pace, the total opposite to Arsenal, it's fucking depressing to watch
