watching the highlights your not going to meet too many teams that'll be more obliging that PSV last night, The big difference for us was that we took advantage of it rather than struggled to even get 1.

I might back a 0-0 at home, its the only obvious scoreline after a 1-7

Well fuck me sideways  We only went and todgered the shite box off the c unts  A perfect European performance I would say.As stated above they were shiiite but we still took advantage when on other occasions we wouldn't have.Lovely win and let's us go full tilt at those manc bastarts on sun knowing that bar a disaster of unheard of proportions we can play a seriously weakened team in the 2nd leg here.

Didn’t watch it last night, as I was expecting a dull bore fest. Whoops.

Very well done to the team, we did well and to be through already is a blessing.

Count Twatula will likely play a strong team in the second leg, though.

Or we'll play a very weakened side and lose 0-7. Seriously, , we ought to rest players and a typical result will be a 0-1 loss.

Haven't been on here for a few days, so first chance to comment on the game. Played very well and shows what can happen when players make runs and we move the ball quickly. That said, PSV were beyond poor and ought to be sacking their scouts, because it's common knowledge that if you sit deep, we can't break you down and we then get hit on the break. They came out to play and left us so much space that we murdered them. Still, as others have said, it's unlike us to score with such ease.

Interestingly, the Madrid derby is far from over. Gotta hope that Athletico can get a win.

Biggest result of the lot is that I'm working in Asia this coming week and the game will be on at 4am local time - so I will be well and truly snoring my head off.....actually much as i would be if I was watching the goalless wonders play out another snoozefest. Certainly won't be setting my alarm clock for this one

I'll catch the 30 seconds highlights package with our 1 shot on target later on
:rubchin:

Michael, come on. Tell me about the Ladyboys.

Another classic Partridge moment :D

Would you like me to lapdance for you..... :D

Still haven't seen many funnier series before or since

Ooohh scary Irish Man !

What was the full list of things again - Beamish, badly tarmacked drives in this country, people with hair on their cheeks, horses running through council estates

Still brings a little smile to my face - maybe I'll put it on every time I see Sterling "warming up"

I think we'd lose to Atletico. I'd rather play a team who wants to play.
