I always hoped that VAR would eliminate the shithead refs but of course in this country they decided to sabotage the process from the start, so any decision can be confirmed by a simple "check complete" with some new interpretation of a law applied. I've heard them all - Lewis Skelly red justified as "excessive force" as it couldn't be done as a professional foul etc etc
Imagine any system being introduced to improve standards and the arbitrators being part of the same body!

Beyond belief. Wouldn't happen in any other sport but anyone who questions it all of course, is a mad conspiracy theorist. Not even bothering to hide the corruption and bias these days.
