Odegaard appreciation thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What an absolute joke we as a group of fans are, our Captain and arguably our player of the season so far still doesn`t have a proper song that has caught on and gets sung at any volume so he could hear it on the pitch!
I know we have the "when he gets the ball hes f@ckin magical" song but it hasn`t caught on for whatever reason so try another one ffs!
Just sing his name to the tune of the Nigel Winterburn song? Simple!!!
Try something else as currently its embarrassing when he scores or produces another piece of sublime skill and nothing happens other than the usual "Arsenal Arsenal"!!
Football chants have always historically been simple and repetative, hence its easy for them to catch on but these days it seems to be that every new song has to have 6 lines of lyrics so guess what, it wont catch on, eg The Jesus song as well !!!
Its embarrassing on every level, there is no other club where this would happen, he is a top quality player and leader who gives 100% every game, he deserves better from us!

Na na na na na na na na na na na, Martin odegaard, odegaard, Martin odegaard.

To the tune of ‘give it up’ by KC and the sunshine band.
Not the most original, but it scans!

I’d forgotten that. Knew I’d heard it before but couldn’t even remember if it was one of our players or one I’d heard at an away game/on the tv!

I always liked the Batigol one from the 90s. If you skip to about 2:35 on this video:

By the way, that video is 5 minutes of pure ridiculousness, but anyway....

Odegaard!

Ode-gaa-aard!

Odig-Odig-Odig-Odegaard!

Repeat.

My song for Ode would be very very simple, just take the tune from Tenpole Tudors song 'Wunderbar'..... 8)

Yeah, just as well he hasn’t got to get up at 6 am and do 10 hours work every day, so that the overtime will enable him to pay the rent, the gas and electric bills and buy the food and other necessities to keep his wife and child in good health.

Might be killing himself while doing it, but at least he hasn’t got the stress of Odegaard’s dreadful existence.
