Maybe it's actually the lovechild of US Marty and Highbury JD as we've got another member of the superfan club on board now by the looks of things, except this one isn't living inside Islington Town Hall, this one is up a lamppost with his binoculars out peering into PGMOL headquarters for those wearing Liverpool scarves

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
Keep talking sunshine. Made yourself look a prize plonker. Most proper Arsenal don’t lambast the Club like a rank amateur. We see you sunshine.
Whatever turns you on fella. You're a better fan than me, i should f*** off and support City/Liverpool/Chelsea or whoever is top of the league. I enjoy it more when Arsenal lose etc etc

Seen your type over the 17 years of being on here so you're welcome to some original thoughts or just keep WUMing as has been noted by several already and bigging it up with your superfan claims

I'm just going upstairs to change from last season's City shirt into my Liverpool one now and I'll be back on Saturday to cheer Brentford on.

Hope that's calmed you down luvvie. Don't let the nurse sneak that microchip in
Not about being a better fan. No idea where are you reading these non-existent posts. You think Arsenal deserve to be fucked over by refs. I don’t. I can see our shortcomings. I still support the side and won’t emotionally dump on them because I’m frustrated we didn’t sign the players we should have done. This is the AFTV influence on this site. It’s generally more popular when we lose than when we win.
Gotta be honest mate I think you have misinterpreted this forum slightly. It was set up as a kind of online pub where fellow Gooners could get together and have a laugh, and have a good old moan when the Arsenal lose - something anyone that has supported the club and been to games will have experienced in a pub many times.

In the early days we had a bit of a friendly disrespect for the official club forum and many of their ex members joined us after they were banned by the wanky mods over there for the slightest criticism of the club, or the manager, or a player. Our slang name for the official club forum was "Pravda."

So our attitude was one of "we won't ban anyone for criticising the club etc." And people liked that freedom to post more or less what they wanted.

That's the reason there is more posting when we fail than when we succeed, it's people blowing off steam. Every single Gooner on here is a real Gooner and most of us have been going to games, home, away, in Europe for decades. I've met the likes of augie (who has often been called not a real fan on here) at games (we even played together in a fans game Online Gooner vs Sunderland fans but augie was shit and missed a sitter from two yards) but I digress....

Try not to take the sometimes OTT posts as a personal insult.

We will all celebrate hugely if we win that CL.

Oh also AFTV are hated on here because they are superfan wànkers.

True story

Worried shitless about this game - if we had gabriel alongside saliba then I would be confident and comfortable about sitting back and playing on the break, but I would worry about doing that with kiwor playing (and I mean no disrespect to him saying that) - when you surrender possession to a team like madrid, it requires you to be mentally tuned in 100% of the time, and I worry that concentration or mental fatigue will catch him out tomorrow night and we'll be punished. You would think that their gameplan last week would have focused on isolating kiwor but it never happened as it seems that most of their attacks were down their left (preferring vini jnr to rodrygo probably), and timber and saliba mopped them up no bother, but you would imagine that tactic will change tomorrow night :rubchin:
Also, like everybody else I am extremely worried about the refereeing we will face tomorrow night - no doubt real madrid are uefa's darlings and they will want them to go through if possible, so I am expecting all 50/50 calls to go against us over there

worried too, its going to be a fine balance of tactics required.......with a lot of possession Real have the players to punish us....we will miss Gabriel

Need another performance like last week....we can do it :barscarf:

We worry about ourselves defensively but Real's crappy 1-0 win over Alaves at the weekend was their first clean sheet in any competition, since 26 Feb. Since then in 10 matches they have conceded 17 goals including against Betis, Rayo Vallecano, Leganes, Valencia and Real Sociedad. In their last 3 home games they have shipped 8.

Its a shame we don't have the away goals rule because I back us to score over there, especially against a team with an average defence who have to come at us hard. They won't score 5 against us, and even 4 is a tall order, so whilst I accept we have to be zoned in defensively and worry about Kiwior we must take our attacking threat to them because even one single goal is a game changer

As much as they are the darlings of uefaCunts, there is also good reason why they are CL Champions etc... The way they destroyed Cheaty last season (?) Before Cheaty turned to shit was something else. However, these cūnts are Not the force they were last season. Our defence is as good if not better than theirs; even with Gabriel missing.

As others have said... Any Goal is a an absolute game changer. They will come out of the traps Full On, looking for the first goal because they know it
might shake our confidence etc. So we need to keep it Ultra-Fucking-Tight for at least the first 25 - 30 Minutes, but we MUST also take any chances that come our way in that same time period.

We need the officials to be Impartial and not be swayed by either the madrid reputation & glamour etc, because as sure as eggs is eggs.. that gobby little cūnt vicious jar will be diving left, right and centre as will the the ninja turtle weird looking fucktwat... Good Players? Yes, but for certain cheating dirty fucks.

We most definitely Can do this, just hope that we get a fairly balanced game by the ref & VAR and that no one gets injured, when they start with the Dark Arts that they are very good at, I mean besides conning the ref.

The trouble with us playing on the break, is that we don't have a fast striker to occupy their centre backs. It's why i said on here a few days ago that I'd play Trossard on the left and Martinelli through the middle, so that even a basic ball over the top is a danger. Sure it means benching Merino, but with Martinelli lurking on the halfway line, it will keep their CHs and defensive CM honest and stop the press into our half. A couple of early balls over the top early on, to send a message, will make them wary.

If we sit back and invite them on, with no out ball, it could be a rough watch and an even rougher outcome.

As outstanding as last weeks performance was, it also needs to be recognised that the game changed on two set piece goals, and tbh I'm not sure I'd ever back us to score in any game right now - merino is not a natural striker and as much as I like the guy, martinelli is not clinical either, so our goal threat comes from saka and set pieces only, so the confidence in us scoring isnt really there for me if I'm honest. If we are capable of keeping a clean sheet until half time then I might fancy us to catch them on the break if they go gung ho at us, but if someone tells me now that we are gonna have to score to go through, then I am very worried about our chances cos my hopes of going through are based on us not conceding 3

We've struggled to score because 90pc of the opponents we've played recently have been camped on the edge of their own box and we don't have the players to unlock it. West Ham, Brentford, Everton etc

Tomorrow's opponents don't have that luxury

No guarantee we will score of course but I think the game is more suited to us scoring than someone like Everton at home, daft though that may sound

For me it's simple, we have to score. We are good enough to go through but we have to threaten them.

Those arrogant cūnts rocked up last week thinking they'd walk it.... We CAN do this, just need to take our chances when they come along and Not Fuck-Up at the back... A Big Ask I know, especially with those arrogant, diving CŪNTS!... We also need a Ref & VAR who aren't in EUFA's pockets.
