Raya had a nightmare, Sterling was rubbish, Saliba, what the fuck ?, done it in Madrid and again tonight.
Trossard and Kiwior were our best players tonight..Says something doesn't it?

the ref was shit... but so were we.... BUT sterling was the smelliest Piece of Shit to ever wear the Red & White of Arsenal; he gave The Total Sum of Absolutely Fucking ZERO whilst smelling of SHIT!

Re: Palarsepieces H Weds 23rd April KO 8pm
I'll cut Raya some slack because he's been decent all season and had hopefully what was a one off poor game
Saliba is now reminding me of a Wenger CB like Koscielny. Looks great until a bully CF comes on and then shits the bed. Did it against Newcastle too.
Sterling there are no words- he has been shit every time he's worn the shirt. STOP FUCKING PLAYING HIM. Odegaard shite all season. Martinelli plays in patches and too often no end product.
Total lack of leadership without Gabriel out there too. Reminded me of a classic Wenger performance tonight. When they equalised it was a matter of whether they got the winner- out heads had dropped and it was clear we'd given up
Apart from the CL where we have excelled, I've hated this season. Some of the dullest league games ever, surrender in the FA Cup in the 3rd round again, and fucked over home and away by Eddie Fucking Howe in those two awful semi final legs
I can count on one hand how many non CL games I've actually enjoyed this season. The recent home performances like West Ham, Brentford and tonight were like watching the shit we served up during lockdown. It's a miracle we are 2nd - just shows how awful this season has been for so many clubs

9 - Tonight was Arsenal's ninth Premier League draw in a match they were leading in this season, two more than any other side. It's the most by a team in a season since Spurs in 2007-08 (also 9). Succumbed.

Poor performance. Agree with what's been said no point repeating it.

Total lack of leadership and a sign of how we've absolutely thrown away the league. Honestly, a God awful season from first to last barring the CL

Thought Sly Sports were a disgrace tonight, what's new you might ask? . They are so far up Liverpool's collective holes . What is it that that vile football club and fanbase has over the media?

Tonight’s performance (or lack of) can be easily attributed to what’s coming next week. If you’ve the biggest game of the season on the horizon in 7 days then you’re not exactly going to bust a nut in a dead rubber today.
Problem with that is that kind of piss poor performance, especially at home, is something that’s blighted us in recent seasons. We get torn apart at home far more than we ever do away. That kind of dull, slog of a game where we get into a lead before contriving to fuck it away, go ahead again and then fuck it once more is way too commonplace.
In the context of tonight that’s an absolute shit show, in the context of next week however I’m hoping it’s actually a good thing. That performance was so horrendous I’m expecting a huge response next week. The level was going to be lifted anyway but after that I reckon we’ll come out all guns more so than if we’d cruised to a 3 nil victory.
That’s my fucking hope anyway and I’m clinging to it!

Jeez Rodders, I hope you’re right! The Madrid games were either side of bland performances so here’s hoping! Really need some inspiration from somewhere and Sterling can just do one and f*ck off back to the Chavs. Absolute disgrace of a ‘player’ who is now just clearly stealing a living.rodders999 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:39 pmTonight’s performance (or lack of) can be easily attributed to what’s coming next week. If it was just tonight as a one off, most people would get it. So far this season we've dropped points at home to Palace, Brentford, West Ham, Villa, Everton, Liverpool and Brighton. 5 of those games we were winning, and the other 2 we didn't score in at allrodders999 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:39 pmTonight’s performance (or lack of) can be easily attributed to what’s coming next week. Its been awful to watch even as far back as the early CL group stages so I don't think tonight was simply down to the big CL game. We've been fucking shit at home most of the time
Re: Palarsepieces H Weds 23rd April KO 8pm
I havent seen any of the game tonight (my son was playing a game and was at that) so I am not gonna comment on the performance cos am not in a position to do so, but like rodders I will say that with the psg game around the corner, tonight's game was always likely to be more about not getting injured - I wonder if the tackle on saka on Sunday planted a seed in players minds ?
What I will say though is that I pointed out several times that the cone boy is not playing Nwanieri anywhere near enough, and he only really got a run of game time when injuries left the cone boy with no choice - picking the fat chav ahead of him tonight is the ultimate insult though, and it makes me wonder if he is rated by legohead at all.
For most of the players who have been playing well tonight's game can be dismissed easily enough, but captain invisible has been utter dogshit all fcuking season and I am way beyond pissed off of it now - he simply cannot be in our strongest 11 next season or else we will stagnate and never win a league

And another Groundhog Day moment - Palace 4 attempts on target, 2 goals. 50% hit rate. Every fucking game.
Someday during the summer when I’m bored shitless I’m going to pull together those stats for the season and the result will be absolutely terrifying.
I’ve said it on here after countless games, 2 attempts on target, 1 conceded. 3 attempts on target, 2 conceded.
Over and over and over again. The percentage of goals to attempts conceded is abysmal.

One for your stats pot - 18 points dropped from winning positions this season. More than the previous 2 whole seasons combined. Lazy, slack, and swanning it like the CL is in the bag. I tell you mate this is a Wenger season unless he lands that prize. The crowd tonight were like a late Wenger crowd- sang for all of 5 minutes and with 10 to go there were 15000 empty seats. The football has been boring. Everyone forgives it when it's winning football, but this is borefest without the resultsrodders999 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 10:27 pmAnd another Groundhog Day moment - Palace 4 attempts on target, 2 goals. 50% hit rate. I fear that Nwanieri will begin to believe he hasn't a future at Arsenal. He knows for sure he isn't replacing a fully fit Saka, but not to start him tonight ahead of Sterling was an insult to him and to the Arsenal fans who paid to go to tonight's game .augie wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 10:22 pmI havent seen any of the game tonight (my son was playing a game and was at that) so I am not gonna comment on the performance cos am not in a position to do so, but like rodders I will say that with the psg game around the corner, tonight's game was always likely to be more about not getting injured - I wonder if the tackle on saka on Sunday planted a seed in players minds ?![]()
