George Graham's Arsenal would have had a chance of turning it round. Hell, even Terry Neill's team had the character to win an away semi final in Juventus at a time when they were considered invincible at home.

But Arteta's Arsenal, like Wenger's in the last decade, do not.

We pass backwards so much because we have NO forwards and one playmaker who has been drivel all season yet plays every game! There's no out ball going forward :banghead:

We got all we deserved from that. Shit management, shit performance, set up wrong, passengers like Ohdeargod contributing nothing and a manager with zero in game management skills leaving him on until that last minute.

Not sure what to say lads, other than this team have become EXACTLY like Wenger's late teams. Such a dull watch

A Champions League semi final and we played like every one of those dull as fuck league games of the past 3 months. Could still be out there at midnight tip tapping it at a snail's pace

When Villa rolled them over they had 2 wingers sitting them on their arses and McGinn biting, snarling and winning every ball. He took a booking thundering into one of them and unsettled them. Our captain did what he's done all season - absolutely Jack shit.

It's not over but only thanks to them missing two golden chances at the end. We can only hope Partey comes back in and adds balance and Odegaard gets injured between now and then

Shame on Ethan eh, not influencing the game from the 90th minute. Fuck sake

Not a surprise at all given the nature of our squad and clueless manager. PSG did what they needed to without getting out of second gear.
Will be a trancing in Parc De Princes.
Scarlett is absolutely clueless and Odegard a toothless spiritless waster.

Pope John Paul I passed away in 1978. An English team won the European Cup that season

Pope John Paul II passed away in 2005. An English team won the CL that season

Pope Benedict XVI passed away in 2022. An English team won the CL that season

Pope Francis passed away today.

Just saying 8)

I wonder if DB10 still has that feeling?
I still have it.

Just. Can't. Shake. It. :?
You might need a topical cream, mate.

--------------

I didn't watch it, but followed the score online. Honestly, we're already out. We're not coming back from behind there.

I'd have been comfortable going there at 1-1, but we've fucked it.

Shows how shit this squad is when he brings 2 players on to change the semi final of the champions league, one a right back and one with 5 minutes injury time to play, and keeps captain Anonymous on for the whole, game

What exactly does Odegaard bring to this team

Well if mud rid can't win it (yet again  ) Then UEFA want either the other Dodgy bitches barcwhores or this Arab financed lot of cũnts to have it....

Yes we were BAD, but the ref set the tone in the first 15 minutes booking 2 Arsenal players and none of theirs...

UEFA = CORRUPT.CŪNTS.COM

For Arteta Not to have The Balls to hook Odeargod when Everyone can see he is 'Invisible' (Yet again) and not bring on Nwaneri who Always Drives The Team Forward is Appalling...

I like to think I am one of the more Positive posters on here... But after that Utter Shit Show, our season is Done. And that makes me truly Sad.

Look out for the "Excuses'... But even worse the Mocking Banter and Piss Taking by The Media, the World and his Dog.

This really is No Good For My Health... Enough IS Enough.

It was embarrassing turning on Sky News to see Blockhead pleading with the crowd to get behind the team and kick every ball on the 'dream night'. That said it all. No manager should rely on a crowd that much and furthermore post that ahead of such a game. You are paid to make the difference with tactical awareness. As soon as I saw it I said we're in trouble tonight. The guy is utterly clueless.

Disagree with commentary, PSG aren’t outstanding or anywhere close, they just played a very shit Arsenal side with glaring deficiencies.
Said half an hour ago, can’t see either of us winning it. Both teams made the other look good for periods. I think with Partey back we’re arguably very slightly the stronger side, but we’ve fucked it up tonight probably beyond being salvageable as it’s a big ask going there and beating them at their own place.
We'll draw 1-1 with an equaliser when it's all but over or draw 0-0 and create nothing. It's back to 2008-16 right now. Never the right players in, always two players away from being properly competive, injuries all the time, shit transfer windows, tactically poor manager, found out the moment we face any form of challenge, certain players never being taken off when they should be, matches just drifting by, boring as fuck at times and as predictable as it comes to play against. Anyone decent knows what to do against us because it isn't that difficult.

Crowd ought to be ashamed of themselves
Th ballot has fucked the atmosphere. Absolute shit show.
Amazon were showing them all pre-match with smoke flares waving flags under the railway bridge. Why don't they go into the ground and do that? Instead they act like a load of pussycats bricking it. I have seen more vociferous crowds at Lords and Wimbledon.

Sure, but generally speaking the Arsenal support is shite and getting worse. If you go one down in first five minutes surely you get behind the team.

Exactly as I see it. The similarities are staggering between now and how we went after the break up of the 09 team. Like then it felt like we spent 2 seasons building to the point where we were 1 or 2 players away from being the real deal. The stubborn twat didn't sign them, lost his best players and turned us into a very poor man's Spain with yellow bellied wankers tip tapping around and always shitting the bed on the big occasion. We've even resorted to loan signings like Neto and Sterling that take us back to the Kallstrom days !
