Odegaard appreciation thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Got burgled this week in broad daylight.

Considering half of the squad are his neighbours it could affect team morale.
If that affects the team morale then they don't deserve to win anything.
Have you ever had your house burgled?
I remember when Brad Pitt and Jon Bon Jovi had their houses burgled and man they were pissed off. They live 29 seconds away from me.
In other news a real world colleague in work actually had their house burgled last week. Our team morale was.... completely unaffected by it.

Still, has to be said, back in VillageWorld, Brad and Jon don't seem to have recovered fully yet. Just watching Brad drive his Ferrari around the neighbourhood looking all glum has been very traumatising for me. :fryingpan:

I stayed relatively calm watching tonight's game apart from when this tosspot was on the ball. Not content with not creating anything and easily getting brushed off the ball, he's now a liability in his own half trying to dribble it out and getting caught dawdling. Every attack fizzles out when this cockwomble is on the ball and I'm sick of the fucking sight of the bloke

At the very least he should immediately be replaced as captain. Rice is already captain in all but name and when Gabriel is there he is a leader too.

I remember the days when I got widely lambasted for slating this cowardly disappearing prik - he was signed from real madrid so fans went into *****-a-thon mode over him, but the reality is that they would rather keep dani fcuking ceballos than nthis cowardly c.unt and that tells you everything in my book. Honestly there is so much that can be said about this c.unt but what is the point ? He is the cone boys favourite and as history shows us, the cone boy likes to fill his squad with players who are yes boys rather than players who have character and determination required to win trophies, because those type of players challenge managers as well as team-mates and we cant have that, so instead we have nice guys like ohdeargod who nobody will slate cos they are nice guys

Augie I don't think you were widely lambasted at all

Most agreed with you. He got a bit better but always flattered to deceive and imo been invisible and a hindrance last 2 seasons at least mostly bar the odd flags of brilliance with a pass or flick or pressing but those moments are exceptions not the norm and he along with the lack of striker are the 2 biggest issues personal wise we have. The striker seems with all the noises issue will attempted to be fixed in summer, I have little faith that the captain and playmaker issue will be at all and this utter milksop will be stinking the place out for years, then the once every 15 game bit of class has the akbs creaming them selves saying I told you so.
