The spirit of 2010 is coming home
Been offered tickets AGAIN from 3 different sources now. Nobody gives a fuck. The football is boring. The crowd have given up
Not long till the lap of appreciation and a 4-0 swatting of Southampton away to get the juices flowing

Surely you want to see Raheem Sterling play again before he retires to Saudi?SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 10:00 pmThe spirit of 2010 is coming home

I think we should lobby the FA to let us play Everton at home for that final day 4-0 win. That really would be like old times.
Is it my imagination or did it always seem to be Everton in that final game. They’d usually just managed to make themselves safe from relegation by nicking a fortunate win the week before, so turned up at ours already on the beach and we’d win the equivalent of a friendly.

Just when we thought things couldn't get worse...
BBC:
Evanilson red card overturned on appeal
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... g542j1jxgo
Evanilson's suspension has been rescinded after Bournemouth successfully appealed against his red card in their 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
The striker was initially given a yellow card for a challenge on Noussair Mazraoui, but it was upgraded following a video assistant referee (VAR) review.
Evanilson appeared to slip as he closed down the United defender.
The red card would have meant a three-match ban, but the Brazilian is now available to face Arsenal on Saturday.
"An independent regulatory commission has removed Evanilson's three-match ban following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal," read a Football Association statement.
Bournemouth are 10th in the table with four games remaining.

Corruption to give United a dodgy point but then reinstate him to play us. If this is not fraud then we are looking at Euromillions winning odds that this is all legit. Just doesn’t stack up anymore how consistent the dodgy decisions are made.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 9:42 amJust when we thought things couldn't get worse...

Correct decision. Should never have been sent off.

Probably worth a bet that he scores the winner OB. Wouldn't that be typical?!

A disinterested Everton who would just about manage to arrive with enough players who hadn't already fucked off on holiday or already left the club. We'd then have that lap of appreciation in front of about 20 people whilst they played something Hot Stuff at full blast over the PA system to stop the boos and abuse from being heard. Reckon this has got a fucking desperate 0-0 written all over it.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 1:00 amSteveO 35 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 10:00 pmThe spirit of 2010 is coming home
