So annoyed with our team wasting another 2 pts when we were in the driving seat.

The team doesn't pass the ball precisely, it's more a hit & hope or pass in desperation.

Took me 15mins to get on here and post this, can't remember what I was gonna say :D

BBC:

Evanilson red card overturned on appeal

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... g542j1jxgo

Evanilson's suspension has been rescinded after Bournemouth successfully appealed against his red card in their 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester United on Sunday.

The striker was initially given a yellow card for a challenge on Noussair Mazraoui, but it was upgraded following a video assistant referee (VAR) review.

Evanilson appeared to slip as he closed down the United defender.

The red card would have meant a three-match ban, but the Brazilian is now available to face Arsenal on Saturday.

"An independent regulatory commission has removed Evanilson's three-match ban following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal," read a Football Association statement.

Bournemouth are 10th in the table with four games remaining.

Correct decision. Should never have been sent off.
Must admit I didn't see the incident, but heard he'd been Red Carded and so would miss the game again us... I'll take any advantage I can get...Oh! Well Hey Ho! And all that jazz eh. :?

Probably worth a bet that he scores the winner OB
. Wouldn't that be typical?! :|

Fact is this loss was all down to arteta.

Iraola made 2 separate substitutions Scott & Semenyo came on ... a minute later they get their 1st goal....Evanilson gets their 2nd and then he brings on jebbison & Brookes to defend their lead and see the game out ... while arteta; besides trying to micro-manage every kick from the touchline does what!?

Brings on Merino for Decca's on the 74th minute... a minute later they score... (Decca's was the only Arsenal player worthy of any praise btw)... then on the 86th minute when the game is already lost he brings on Nwaneri... Clivechenko  and sterling

Arteta doesn't have a fuckin' Scooby about in-game tactics whereas Iraola "knew 100%" what he needed to do and acted instead of waving his arms about and fucking about on the touchline.. #ArtetaOut

Forum, as of now, SEEEEEMS to be back to normal.

-----------------------

Re the game; fuck me, what year is it? That was peak 2009-17 performance if I ever saw one! A truly spectacular display of tippy tappy sideways nothingness, coupled with utter clueless defending with a hint of nothing going forward; ideas which have been specifically brewed in the mind of a someone with over 30 years of experience in the game.

TWO ARSENE WENGER'S!!!!! :barscarf:

Probably just as well that the forum was down on Saturday really!

Another shambolic performance- and still Arteta totally incapable of rotating the team.
If we don’t make the final on Wednesday then Arteta should be sacked (although of course he won’t be)

I was thinking the same thing Rob, that this place would have lit up on Saturday if it had been available. Maybe Legohead organised the AI bots.

This was an appalling performance, as bad as anything this season and this is a side in abject decline. It's all on Weds now and given our form since Christmas...the R Madrid games aside....we're not winning that game. I hope I'm wrong, so will keep my powder dry for now.

Horrible second half performance, on and off the pitch. Comfortable at 1-0 up and maybe that was the problem. Lesson for any aspiring manager ,If you want to win a game don't take off the driving force that is winning it for you.
I sincerely hope Timber is OK for Wednesday, White was skinned three times by their left winger, that could be embarrassing in Paris.
One gripe I would have is their winner, I think it was so obviously his elbow it came off. If he was wearing a long sleeves I could understand the doubt, but it seemed clear, to me anyway , that the ball touched skin rather than kit. However the loss is down to the manager , it should never have got to that situation.
Worth saying that regardless what part of the body the ball came off Raya should have dealt with it too.

Totally agree the site went down as it knew what was coming , What a pile of shite that game was , it is now getting embarrassing and with Liverpool and Newcastle coming up not looking good. I can’t believe we will not be top two but it comes down to the reasons covered before , paper thin squad , no one upfront , and these hamstring injuries have to be due to training / over playing .
Like who is glad we sold ESR .

We were shocking, but special mentions for Captain Invisible Hleb Mk2 and Carpark-Foot Partey. This was the real Partey, not the one we saw against Madrid. This one, the lazy, drifting, mispassing, inept, posession losing one.

I'd be amazed if we get any kind of result against PSG based on what we've seen either side of the Madrid games.

Hope I'm wrong but I doubt it tbh. :(

We won't even score on Wed. A limp gutless showing is coming and we all know it.
Out with a wimper.
Tactical ineptitude once again.

Yes Step, we do. Even those amongst us that try to put on a bold front and talk of hope and ifs and buts know, deep down, that you're absolutely on the money.

Still, you never know....maybe if Odegaard can turn up and Merino can bang a couple in and Partey can give us a Madrid style performance and Raya can stop giving us heart failure by playing the sweeper role 40 yds from goal and Sterling can come off the bench to score the winner and, and, and......oh, fuck it....of course you're right.
