Never try to sign a player who doesn't really want to come to the Arsenal! Clearly Sesko is not that bothered so bin him, right now, if it means Gyokeres, so be it.

This windows has been the most tedious ever, by a mile. Every horse shit website who spew total bollocks have done exactly that, every day, you know the ones.....TBR, Football London, Metro, Fichajes, FootballFanCast, Team talk, Sports Mole, Talksport.....Fabrizio fucking Romano..the list goes on....c.unts, the lot of them, with clickbait titles and 'stories' of absolutely nothing and you can add the enormous amounts of twatter ITK"s in the same mix.

It's telling that people like Ornstein and Mokbell are saying nothing.... Because there's nothing to say! Arsenal don't want to pay big money, simples, so we're going to end up with Watkins......at least he wants to play for us!!

Obviously it could be a reflection of the concerns I have over signing gyokeres (I dont want sesko) but I am beginning to warm to the idea of signing watkins   Honestly considering that our desperation for a top striker is well known, the quality of strikers we are being linked with is underwhelming to say the least - fans on places like here can voice their preference for signing an osimhen or martinez level signing, but the reality is that we are only be linked with strikers with real question marks like gyokeres, sesko, watkins and frankfort striker, and there is a real feeling of meh about it all tbh  At least we know watkins can score goals in this league and will likely cost less than the others, so maybe buying him and using the extra funds to go after and sign rodrygo would make us a better all around team ?

As long as I can recall we have always been a bit shit in the transfer windows, so some might ask why are fans so angry this summer when we should be used to it ? The answer is that this summer two of our main rivals are basically blowing us and every other big club out of the water and leaving us behind. I'm old enough to remember when the victims were winning all those leagues in the early 80s when they had a template where after winning in a league they would make one big splash signing in the summer - it was rarely about need for them but was more about making a statement to their rivals showing that they were getting stronger, and this is exactly what they are doing now and we are looking like a club devoid of plan on where we are going   As has been said by others, when the more respected journo's are saying little then that is not a good omen - the club have continually spouted nonsense publicly for a long time about the extensive work and preperation they have been putting in behind the scenes for transfers, but when you say that then you have to be able to back it up publicly and failing to get deals done is not a good look. How are they only finding out now about sesko looking for release clause if they have done months of prepping this deal ?How can the victims come late to the wirtz party and yet swoop in and get the deal done that quickly, when we have spent months putting in groundwork for deals and STILL cant get them done ? Absolutely no doubt that the cone boy and the other suits behind the club should shut their mouths about nonsense ground work and only talk when there is something to announce

Fuck him and his release clause. If this is true then how come it has taken over a year to find this out. Get Watkins and in 2/3 years other options would be available.

And what a load of bullshit (i hope) that we are 'apparently' linked to the Place CB , wtf would we want another defender for unless we were offloading Saliba.

Is that the 6th or 7th time we've signed him now?

In the last few days we are being linked with brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard - decent player for sure, but he is 31 years old so no way should we pay big money for him

I'd like to have Lautaro Martinez as the striker and Rodrygo as the winger, just sayin'.
Without a shadow of a doubt my #1 choice for striker. He would score hatfuls for us.

I know are far from a true measure of a player, but some of these are truly shocking.

I occasionally wonder if I’m being unfair to Sesko when I say that I’ve only seen him at the euros (only 3 games I think) and that he was crap. I do think that you can see a player and instinctively know, very quickly, that he’s not good enough, but I’ve still questioned whether I’m being harsh.

Having just watched this, I think my instincts were bang on! And he wants a fucking release clause. Don’t sign this bloke.

Seems like our usual signing up front. Wastes a lot of chances and shit in the moments that matter.

I'd like some of those who were rubbishing gyokeres on basis of playing in a pub league, to come on here and give their response to those clips - fcuk me a pub team striker after a night on the piss would do better that sesko on these chances   My argument has always been that, yes there are difference standards of leagues that will impact the number of chances your striker will get, but that a goalscorer is a goalscorer regardless of where he plays - maybe in a few years sesko will be scoring as many goals as gyokeres is now, but the reality is that right now sesko is a million miles away from being prolific even in an average german league

Does brilliantly to get himself away from defenders to create opportunities but I have to admit those one on one misses are awful.
I still think Gykores would be a huge gamble, but if it paid off? I just don't see him as good enough for a plge team with title ambitions, I could be wrong!
We won't sign either of them so doesnt really matter!

🚨 BREAKING!

Real Madrid have set their price if they are to sell Rodrygo this summer. €90m. 🇧🇷

The money would be used to get a new midfielder for Xabi Alonso. 🤝

Arsenal is a REAL option. 📍
