Dioga Jota RIP

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

My first thought too

Awful news and I always rated him as a player - tragic news for his wife and 3 young kids just two weeks after getting married

RIP

That's horrible news. Terrible for his family to have to go through.

That's horrific. It's shocking to hear of such a young man with a young family dying like that. It's such a waste of life.

RIP.

I'm sure I don't need to say this to the vast vast majority of you lads, but let's keep this thread respectful of the player and his family, no matter what many of us might think of his former club's fans.

Yeah, me too. It's terrible for someone to lose their life like this. Especially when there's a young family involved. Sad news.

Sad news

Saw a pic on BBC of his wedding day a few weeks ago and the happiness and excitement shown by his 2 young lads and wife, to what they must be going through now.

Life can be just so cruel

Always shocking news when someone in the public eye, gifted and at the height of their ''profession' is taken so young. Desperately tragic for his wife and family, thoughts go out to them. Horrible news.

RIP
Very sad news

No matter what club he played for he was an extremely talented footballer.
These super cars are highly dangerous though. The Lamborghini that he was speeding in can get up to over 200mph, and these young footballers driving them already think that they are invincible.

Absolutely tragic. R.I.P.

The lad had only just got married. His poor wife and children.
