I must have missed Nwaneri signing that contract. Madueke signing helps him stay doesn’t it?Arsenal Till I Die wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 4:01 pmYou mean the swap deal you spoke of?Limerick Gooner wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 3:59 pmIt’s all coming true isn’t it?Arsenal Till I Die wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 3:52 pmEXCLUSIVE from @FabrizioRomano:

As per @Record_Portugal on Gyokeres
“The next few hours promise to be decisive, and the line is now very thin: either there’s green smoke, or an all-out war scenario”
“Sporting CP remain confident that a final agreement will be reached this week, ‘possibly tomorrow’.

If Nwaneri goes to Chelsea, I’ll stop calling you BobbyP until January. It’s only fair.Limerick Gooner wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 4:01 pmI must have missed Nwaneri signing that contract. Arsenal are stepping up their pursuit of Eberechi Eze.
A bid worth £45m plus performance-related bonuses has been submitted to Crystal Palace, coming close to the £67.5m release clause.
Palace are beginning to soften and the player is ready to say yes. #Arsenal #Eze #Transfers #AFC

If we sign all these players it sounds like we need a decent fee from a homegrown player to balance the books.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
If we sign Madueke and Eze, then added to Zubi, Kepa and Norgaard, I make that in the region of £180-190m spent. I can't see another £70m on top of that being spent on Gyokeres, or £90m on Sesko. That would take spending to the region of a quarter of a billion.
Sign Eze and Gyokeres and forget Madueke. We have Nwaneri as cover/replacement for Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard, so we don't need the Chelsea reject. In fact, regardless of whoever else is in the squad, we simply don't need Madueke full stop.

Kudos from the shammers at £55m is a better option than signing the chav reject imo

yes all makes sense...but you just know the chav reject is the one we will sign...and do not need

if this is it with no striker signed its a total disaster......
