If we do sign yet another Chav reject... and the way things are looking we will, I can't see him being given an Open Arms welcome by Gooners; except of course the Plastic Fans & cringe-worthy ashburton army  FFS... the wanna be ultra wǎnkers ... who would happily suck Arteta's Cock given half the chance...

Am I the only one pondering here who is Totally Baffled & Perplexed that we could go and get Eze for £65Million (and off-load one of our deadwoods and so get him even cheaper (Palace want a money & swap deal - Zinchenko!) . While the Nazi Chavs are asking above £50 mill for their reject... which is almost twice the price they paid for him...

After reading something elsewhere I wouldn’t be surprised if we are trying to by everyone in instalments .
One thing for sure they can’t afford to now miss out on Goykres .

The transfer fees have gone crazy but if Elanga is 65 mill then the Chelsea player is 50 mill then how much is Sesco or Victor worth . Just pay the bloody money and Also get Eze .

Pretty sure Heinz was the German left back so maybe he can also help develop MLS further .

You have to wonder why the owners aren't looking at Berta and saying "We bought you in to get the transfers we need. You are haggling over 5m for a top striker yet bringing someone in for 50m who hasn't done anything to deserve that fee"

I think if I was making ridiculous choices at my work then my bosses would be all over me straight away. If I was Gyokeres and I had done everything I could do force the deal but the club were being dicks, I would be rethinking if I want to move to them. I had a similar situation with a job application and I called it off and went with a different job. And that is what this is for them, a job.

Also, Arsenal have tried to play the sesko/gyokeres agents with interest to get deals moving and I think gyokeres should do the same. He should tell Man Utd to make a bid

Heinze is Argentinian.

Mind you, probably a good chance that his father, or grandfather left Germany circa 1945. 8)

🔁 Arsenal are following the same strategy as with Gyökeres/Sesko: working on multiple targets in parallel to avoid delays or dead ends.

Talks are ongoing with Madueke (the most advanced option) and Eze to strengthen the wings.
Other positions are also being approached with this anticipatory mindset.

#AFC #Madueke #Eze #Arsenal #Transfers

Ah good, because that strategy has worked really well with the Gyokeres/Sesko fiasco. It’s really helped avoid delays hasn’t it?!

Also, what the fuck is an “anticipatory mindset”.

We’re managed by absolute clowns. :banghead:

That’s a good point Dude and I’ve made it a few times on here in the past regarding our transfer dealings. Not only will our lowballing and constant haggling piss off the selling club, but it must also piss off the player, who must question how badly he’s wanted when we’re haggling over loose change.

I assume he's down for 25+ goals otherwise people might think Arteta hasn't addressed the goalscoring issue.

So Gyokeres won't happen because we won't pay £4.3m extra?? That's proof we don't really want him. I think Arsenal are stalling hoping for Leipzig to call and say they'll lower the price.
What a cheap club we are, when the chips are down, we use excuses to avoid making the signings we really want.
I see we've just offered 45m for Eze, when the release clause is 68m?? Fucking joke club Arsenal. Banter years are back.
I bet Berta rents his home, no way is he paying the asking price for anything!! :banghead:
agreed what is the point of low balling.....fuckin ridiculous.....pay the price or fuck off...transfers always been shambolic but this is getting crazy

The ringpieces who run our club really are a bunch of fannies  Serious clubs go in make the offer and get it done..We on the other hand dildo around with low offers  It's pathetic it really is..Just because we accept lowball offers..doesn't mean other teams do..This helmet haired arsehole will go into this season with Havertz up top..and the same outcome will happen..

I don't post much on this fucking thread as there is more shit being thrown around than the village farmer on muck spreading day  :D

But I have to say, what the actual fuck is going on with our transfer strategy?

My suspicion is that Diet Pep wants far too much influence in the decision making process. And, I reckon it's the reason that Edu left the club. In fact it has all the hallmarks of Wenger 2 wanting control over everything :banghead:

Diet Pep should be identifying positions of need, Bertha should give him a shortlist and then when Diet Pep has made a choice, Bertha should go and get the deal done, at least that should be his job. But I think Diet Pep is being deliberately obtuse especially where a striker is concerned.

As many of our esteemed posters have pointed out, I don't think Diet Pep actually wants a striker. All this talk of wide players or attacking midfielders will deflect away from the pressing need. All the prevarication over a few million quid for a striker suggests that they are hoping for the deal to fall through. And we've heard the soundbites before about how hard we tried to sign so and so.

And that's before we get on to the issue of contract extensions for the players we need to keep, otherwise they will get tapped up and walk for a pittance.

I love the transfer window :cussing:

🚨⚪️ Direct meeting for Rodrygo’s future will take place next week as Real Madrid are open to letting him leave.

Real will leave the final decision to the Brazilian.

Rodrygo won’t join Al Nassr, never a topic or even a negotiation despite reports. Full focus on Europe. 🇪🇺
