Diaby's out... or the glass player theory by MR.Wenger

My mate suggested to me to play Eboue in the middle. First i laughed but after thinking about it. I dont think its a bad idea. He can tackle to be fair to him and he can take players on. If i was Wenger i would give him a chance vs WBA on saturday and see hoe he does

midfield saturday

Walcott Fabregas Eboue Nasri

Diaby out again

Post by njac »

we all knew at the end of last season where we were short - we knew Flamini was going to fuck off for the money - why Arsene has played dumb on this one is beyond me ...we had the replacement - Diarra - if he was moaning & whingeing ...send him out on loan then when Flamini went he was the ideal replacement - or we should have set Flamini a deadline & fucked him off when he didn't make his plans clear -as it is Arsene has waited for him ...he has gone - after one good season - did well but this time last year he was off to Birmingham so not a huge loss ...but Diarra is a different class & we have to replace him

Diaby - way way too injury prone - just cos he has long legs doesn't mean he is the next PV4 - he isn't...get on with buying a player to support Fabregas & give him the licence to play off the front men ...if we don't we all know where he will be heading next summer & it won't just be for a holiday !

So ...Inler - don't know enough about him, but Alonso, Barry, Yaya would all do a good job for us in different ways ...whatever ...get on with it stop banging on about being too busy now - had AW not been working for French TV or PSG in the summer maybe we would have made the signings the squad needs ...some proven experience

while he is out there buying this midfielder can he also buy a dominant fucking centre half too - end of the season he was on about how many goals we conceded by not being decisive enough in the middle defensively - what have we done ? .....nothing !

I think the reason we are all posting & frustrated is we know that the margin between us the Chavs & Manure was not much & with a little more investment we would put ourselves in a great position ...as it is it seems like it is all about not going backwards & that should not be what we are about !

And even worse, other teams are going forward!!

And by the way, anyone that thinks Diaby is the 'new Vieira' just because he physically looks like him, should be put away for their own good!! :duh: No-one that stupid should be allowed to roam the streets!!

I had this fucking horrible nightmare last night that we lost 3-1 on wed night and drew 1-1 at home to Twente because we we're short of players.

Although saying that I was playing and the ref was some fit ginger bird..........

It never ceases to amaze me that a man that is supposed to be highly intelligent(wenger) can place so much faith in players that have shocking history in the fitness area. RVP, Rosicky and Diaby have all spent most of their careers at our club on the treatment table and as I have said many times before with a squad our size we cannot afford to carry 1 player that is constantly injured much less three  :banghead: :banghead:

August 2007 Signed diarra as we needed to strengthen
January 2008 Sold Diarra but no need to replace as we're strong enough :? STATUS -1 MIDFIELDER
May - August 2008 Sold 3 more midfielders STATUS -4 MIDFIELDERS
Signed Ramsey STATUS -3 MIDFIELDERS

So, we're 3 players short in midfield compared to last year and yet AW is not sure if we need anyone else. Well, I'm not Carol Vorderman but even I can see that we have less players now than this time last year.

Sort it out AW, 2 midfielders please, NOW :x :x :x
