There was only 45 - 50,000 in there to start with! I know they quote tickets sold but for fecks sake, we have 40,000 season ticket holders, what if only 10,000 turn up? We should say how many are in the stadium.
On one hand I don't understand why you would pay £50 for a seat and then bugger off early but having said that, transport is so crap that if you live any distance away, it can mean getting home well after midnight, not great when you have to be up for work at 5am. BUT.....I don't believe all the early leavers live far away, half of 'em probably live in London!

I live miles out of London and I admit I have in the past left 2 or 3 minutes early after a 7.45 kick off to get the 10.10 train home.
That wasn't an option last night so I stayed until the end.
I can understand people in my position who get home around midnight after a game and then get up at 5 for work going slightly early but surely that does not apply to half the ground?
