Nah, I am not being over sensitive.gus ceasar is a legend wrote:Fine and I agree we all ahve limits but I whilst I can see why you have a dislike to the suicide bomber one I think the you are being slightly over sensitive with regards to Anne Franks!
Before you start I do not need a holocaust sermon!
What would be the reaction if someone did a hide an seek with Madeleine McCann? Lot of people would be unhappy about it.
It's a trend of our era that comedy has no limits, everyone is fair game.
Some say that is good.
I say a certain amount of discretion has to be advised.
I saw Chris Rock live on Sunday.
He is a rude as they get, extremely talented comedian.
He addressed a good point though.
He said, "When is it ok for a White person to use the word N****r?"
He made a whole joke about it, but his point was, it is not really ok at all.
He uses it himself a lot, but he made that point, through humour, that as foul mouthed as he is, he has boundaries too.
His show will be on DVD in a few months, called "No Apologies"...is very rude, but very funny.
As for Anne Frank, it is very personal for me, not just something you learn in history.

I won't bother answering!
I tell you what if you are so offended, why don't you have a dig at those who posted the images to your dislike?
I will stand by my lighten up comment though! You are far to pretentious at times! The day you can tell me you have never chuckled at anything someone else might find offensive then I will take your gripe seriously.
Good night.

Pardon Basil?
I have openly admitted that the suicide bomber bit may well be offensive but I am sorry the Anne Franks one can be taken with a pinch of salt! If it was a picture of a Jew being persecuted or similar then of course it would be in bad taste. The fact is she hid and they seeked and so it is just a play on words.
I am not winding anyone up I am simply voicing my opinion. Is that ok by you? If this was so wrong then again dig at the people who posted the pictures!
Not going to get into a bun fight about this! If you are so sensitive about things like the Anne Frank joke then I wonder why you have not taken offense to the homophobic jokes? Why was they not mentioned in the moans as they are or could be as offensive to some?
I give up!

Well the one that offended me was the one that was personal to me.gus ceasar is a legend wrote:Pardon Basil?

Your point, that we all probably laugh at things that are offensive to others;
if someone points out my laughter is offensive to them, I will look at why I am laughing and likely change my behaviour.
I did not find the Alzheimers thing funny either.
The homophobic ones?
I guess you mean the "BiCurious George and the Innapropriate Touch"?
It is not funny either, I did not pick up on it as it is not a skilled graphic either, just a bit weird. I did not laugh at it either.
But I guess it offends some people here, and they have a right to be offended.
The fact that Basil has felt the same must suggest to you that it is not just some mad bee in my bonnet over this?
Wayno should have thought a bit more about which ones of those to post on here, I hope he reconsiders.
