Introducing myself and saying hello

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Introducing myself and saying hello

Post by Mickey Cannon »

Well I was instructed to do so so here I am introducing myself and saying hello, it took me long enough to log in so I have to say something.
Hope you all bought the new issue at the weekend and enjoyed my column.

Nice to see you on here at last Mickey. What bloody took you so long? :? Did you think you were too good for us, the common people, eh?

Like TFI Arsenal, I've read your articles in the Gooner for years and normally enjoy them. Good work by you and the whole team at Gooner Towers. 8)

Nothing on "one nil down, two one up". Shame they decided to call it a day as they really stood with the fans during the bond shit.

AND THEY WERE QUITE FUNNY!

A real life staffer from gooner towers on our humble forum? this is truly an honour mr Cannon. I'm a big fan of the column, welcome!

as for the defoe issue, i read a joke about him somewhere but i can't remember where so if it was in the gooner or on this forum then sorry, i'm not stealing it just reproducing it here for those who haven't heard it:

jermain defoe walks up to some woman in a bar and says "get your coat you've pulled" she replies "you are a little forward!"
boom boom.

my mum saw him whilst shopping in Romford and she gave him a evil look and he said to her (knowing she must be a gooner) "Don't look at me like that I'm really Arsenal" hahaha
