As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can you, if so tell me please?
I would look at Hiddinck, Van Basten, Rijkarrd, Klinsman to name the usual foreign suspects. I would also consider Moyes at Everton if he'd come.
The main thing is that we get a Manager who realises that you are never going to win the EPL by simply trying to develop and gauge an under 21 team.
We also need a Manager who can blend the team and ensure that there is on field leadership as well as off field direction. In other words we need a Manager who will sign a Captain. That is another crucial attribute that Arsene seems to have forgotten - sadly !
cant sack wenger - weve had plenty of successful managers before ut him and HC are the 2 greatest y a fair distance i the venerable history of our club
HOWEVER he certainly has fucked up this season by not buying what we need and tbh even if he was going with the youngsters strengthening the squad with a top DMC and CB absolutely had to be done, i dont think he has adapted to the way that premiership football has changed in the past few years, even though it was him who kickstarted this change.
Denilson is a squad player, not a week in week out starter - as has been said plenty of times, almunia is good but we need better, he hasnt signed any good CBs apart from sol since the back 4 of George Grahams era retired.
However sacking wenger is simply not an option. after this start surely he will realise that he needs to change things, otherwise we wont be winning much for a few years
Cesc is god I mean you no offence when I say this mate but it is very hard to have a rational discussion re our managerial situation with any fan who has only been a supporter in the wenger era. Both yourself and ade the daddy claim that there is nobody out there that can do as good a job as wenger and I would suggest that you are living in the past mate. I could bring that Arsenal team to stoke, fulham and hull to name just 3 and I would certainly do no worse than wenger. Has he corrected our continued centre back problems ? No. Has he fixed the imbalance in our midfield ? No and in fact he played 4 midfielders from the start today that are all centre midfielders and any gobshite on the street wouldnt do that Has he got a top quality keeper to replace lehman ? No we have manuel fcuking almunia Finally how many times do you think it is acceptable for a manager to say after a game that his players didnt seem up for it when it is his fcuking job to ensure the *word censored* are up for it in the 1st place
Wenger is the greatest manager we have ever had but we have had many excellent managers before him and will have after he is gone. The club is more important than wenger and is certainly more important than his fcuking ego
To all the kids who believe Arsenal can't exist without Wenger:
BUY A FUCKING HISTORY BOOK
Out of the big four we have had a piss easy opening PL run and mangaed to royally fuck it up. I'm not for sacking AW yet but Bruce Rioch would have got us more points from the opening 10 games.
We are short on quality. That isn't a newsflash, it's old news. Click on comments from the summer. AW is not the messiah, until 2004, he was a great manager that has lost his way for the past four years.
I get angry when I think of his comments blaming the fans. No mate its not us, its you and your obsession with your ientity of not spending money. Change or we will end up changing you.
Not offended at all as it's far from my fault that my old man took his time to conceive me.
I agree that he is not the perfect manager and yes, he does have faults - Those of which that have recently been hyped up by everyone. But I enjoy the way we play, no matter how bad the result is.
There are many ways in which people may think we can improve our current situation: Sack Wenger and get someone new in, spend BIG in January with money we ''apparently' have or do something that will crush my Gooner heart and accept a takeover from Usmanov/Kroenke/whoever.
OR we can keep AW here for a few more years. Well, unless he has enough of the fans getting on his back every fecking game. I'm all for this option as I don't see any realistic positive effects from the first three.

True, it will make or break him.
We could easily finish 6th/7th this season. The rest of the "big four" are well clear of us, Villa can go above us this weekend, Hull and Everton are about where we are in the table (but have had more difficult starts!).
If Wenger doesn't spend, he'll be remembered as the guy who took Arsenal from invincibles to midtable mediocrity in 5 short years. But the club will have a massive transfer kitty.

Again this beautiful football that we play is a new fad for us Gooners - history will tell you that we have always been known as boring cos of our style of football but it got us results. I dont care what style of football we play as long as we are winning and moving forward as a club and sadly in the last 4 seasons under wenger we have quite noticeably moving backwards and the speed of that move is now going up through the gears

Obviously. I do know alot of history considering I'm only 17. One nil to the Arsenal anyone?
But the real question is (Although you may disagree with my example):
Who would you rather support at the moment, a team like Chelsea or a team like Arsenal?
I'm not saying the team chelsea, I'm saying an Arsenal team who plays and is run like Chelsea - A team that grinds out 1 - 0 wins and do not care about how they play, as long as they win.
You've obviously not seen the Russians this season then mate. They're scoring 3/4 goals every time they play. Their goal difference is already 10 better than anyone else.
