REDaction - A chance to put forward your ideas

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Afterall these are the blocks next to the away fans and if anywhere in the ground should be noisey and standing, then it is here. REDaction being as far away from the opposition just seems plain daft.
I wondered why the club would do that, but its pretty obvious have the most rowdy arsenal fans as far away from the away fans as possible, least chance of trouble going in and out the gates. can you imagine if the readaction area was next to the away fans you'd have one corner of noise and 3 quarters of pure sat down silence.

The answers you’ve all been waiting for!

Advise for red action - slow the fuck down. Seriously, it's not a race. I'm not saying to go as slow as S**rs when they do "when the c**ts go marching in" (that just sounds like they're a bit thick), but not everyone is an ill rapper like flava flav.

Answer: REDaction have done newsletters in the rocket & redsection suggesting we slow the songs down - & then keep them going for longer, so other parts of the ground can join in. One of the other points made was with regard to a loudhailer and I reckon this could tie in with the slow down point. We have been discussing with the club for a while now about getting a loud hailer and we think we have found someone who is up for doing it. He is ‘old school’ so does know about the pace of certain songs so hopefully we can get some movement on this. Anyway who the fuck is flava flav?

12th Gooner: Is anyone from RedAction monitoring this thread.??
I have a suggestion. Perhaps have the 'meet' on a saturday where more people who want to attend can. Having a meeting on a weeknight from 5:30 ending more than an hour before kick off i feel is a little unproductive and personally gives me the impression that they're doing the "have a meeting at time where are unlikely to be able to attend" and "at a place we won't tell you unless you ask"
So much for being an open forum to have a chat about matters.

Answer: We intend to have more than one “meetâ€

could i make an "online" suggestion.

Its fully appreciated that you guys are busy have other things you need to do. But if you guys are online at some points perhaps an hour or two for a specific day then people who want to chat with you about things can come on ,say here, where you guys will be and have a chat with you.

it keeps you connected with fans, both home and abroad that probably don't attend matches, and those that do. and gives you regular feed back post matches. perhaps appoint/get some someone who can do this with you guys.

Like the idea Wayno, but I suppose its a problem 'guaranteeing' a certain time every week.

I'm sure you are more computer literate than me, so what about if we set up a 'sticky' from this site directing people to our g-mail account / webpage etc.

Do you think that would be effective?
