gooner.ed, i see we get an allocation of 29000 tickets for the final. I see pb1 and pb2 will be for fans who have been travelling away and rightly so. How many tickets do you think will be left??, and how will they be allocated amongst the rest of us season-ticket holders. Another ballott??. Can you give us a run down as best you know it. Thanks mate... 3-1 to THE Arsenal, 3-1 to THE Arsenal..................

I think (hope) Gold members / season ticket holders should be fine.

This has been posted on the official website
This match will be strictly all ticket. We are due to receive an allocation of 29,000 tickets priced at £74 (extremely limited) £64 (limited) £48 and £36.

Concessions will be available to juniors 16 years and under and Senior Citizens at 50 per cent of the advertised price.

Due to the expected levels of demand for this final, the Club is pleased to announce that the following booking procedure will be implemented.

As previously stated in the Cup Final Policy the following supporter groups will receive priority:

1) Members of the Away Scheme (Away Season Ticket Subscription) will be guaranteed a ticket, provided they are registered members during the relevant season of the particular cup final.

2) Platinum and Gold members who have attended three and above away fixtures over the last two consecutive seasons from August 13, 2004 January 29, 2007 when the data was extracted.

Both the above categories will be guaranteed as long as the tickets are purchased in the allotted timescale from 11am Monday, February 5 to 6pm Wednesday, February 7. Tickets will be available on-line via Arsenal.com or by telephone 0870 3800 232. Booking fees will apply.

We have been advised that under no circumstances will the Millennium Stadium issue duplicate tickets, as a consequence all tickets will be dispatched by Special Delivery.

In line with the Cup Final Policy the next level of priority will go to Platinum and Gold Members who have attended two or fewer away fixtures over the last two consecutive seasons from August 13, 2004 to January 28, 2007.

There will be two phases to this process

Phase One

Supporters would need to register their interest as detailed below:

In order to register an interest in applying for tickets for this fixture, Platinum/Gold (Season Ticket holders) 06/07 season, will be required to complete an online registration within the allotted time period detailed below.

If the Club receives more registrations than tickets available, a random ballot will be held.

The Club would like to stress that the success of registrations will have absolutely no reflection on the timing of when applications were made within the set period of time.

You will need to have the following information to hand in order to submit a registration for each applicant.

* Valid Platinum/Gold (Season Ticket) (individual) seven digit Membership number(s)
* Surname/postcode
* Valid password and e-mail address for the lead client (Main Applicant).

Registrations will be accepted online through Arsenal.com between the following dates:

The Club will also receive an allocation of tickets for disabled supporters, details of how these will be allocated will be available on the disabled supporters section of the website or alternatively by contacting the Club's Disability Team on 020 7704 4490. Please be aware that this number can get extremely busy at times so please be patient.
Platinum and gold members who have attended 3 away games in the last two seasons is pathetic. As the bloke in the other thread said, anyone who's been to every carling cup game this season should get a final ticket. regardless of whether they are season ticket or silver/red members.

Oh well, I knew I had no chance so I'm not gonna moan about it. Expect another great day in the Gunners like fa cup final 05.

i agree that 3 away credits is a pitiful number and we could then get into the argument about why a season ticket holder with 3 credits deserves a final ticket more than one with 2. we've been here before with paris in may.

but the bottom line is this - away season ticket holders (rightly) are prioritised whether they are gold, slilver or red members.

after that, it's season ticket holders - that is the club policy - pretty much always has been, always will be. there are hardcore away travellers who are silver members who don't get a look in. It's not right that someone with 3 credits who has a season ticket can go to Cardiff whilst someone who could have been to every home and away game for the last two seasons but is not a gold member cannot. but the club's policy is not going to change because of the deserving case syndrome.

so in short, if you are not a gold member, the only way you will ever get a shot at a cup final ticket through the club is to join the away season ticket scheme. people have had the opportunity to do this in the close seasons of 2005 and 2006.

i am not saying any of this is right. just explaining that is the way it is.

as for gold members with less than 3 away credits, there will be a ballot for the remaining tickets not claimed by those with enough credits. as the website says you have to register your interest. i imagine people will be emailed offering them the opportunity to buy a final ticket within a certain amount of time towards the end of next week. i think if you watch your email regularly, any season ticket holder who want one and has registered will get a chance to buy a ticket.

but if you are not a season ticket holder, my advice is to find someone who is that doesn't want to go to Cardiff (and there will be a good number) and get them to apply for the ticket. and remember, for future fa and cl finals, the allocation will be about half of that we get for the carling cup final. it's only gonna get tougher.

best of luck to everyone out there.

The three credits are between 13 Aug 2004 and January 29th 2007. At this point there was a download from the database. Any purchase of Bolton tickets will therefore not be included.

The registration period is between 6 February 2007 10am and 4pm 9th February.

WE'RE ON OUR WAY TO CARDIFF.
