Simple question - what are your main thoughts on 2008 - 2009 so far, and what would you like to see happen in the remainder of the season?

Quite simple really.
Play the way we did for the first half of last season and win the Champions League, and the league title.
But seeing as that is extremely unlikely, I would settle for winning ugly for the rest of the season and getting some silverware.
Now given that even that scenario seems rather remote, I would settle for a return to the beautiful football and I would be quite happy even if we win nothing.
But first, a return to a mentality that when you play the Arsenal, you will know that you have been in a game.
That rather sums up what I think of the season so far. It has been painful to watch overpaid, underperforming players sully the image of the club. Lacking stomach for a scrap most times, and not able to rouse themselves even as the season disintegrates around them, many of the team need a kick up the backside. Only people who can say they have put in a decent shift are the defence. Not the most competent at times, but at least they give a damn, and they can point to the fact that the players in front of them have not done their part to provide support.
