For me, the result papers over cracks.

Overall we were listless and uncreative.

RvP had a very good game, as much as I dislike him generally I can admit that.

Saw nothing to make me think we will catch Villa, unless we buy well this transfer window.

In my opinion its a bloody good job we have van persie...he is world class and at the moment the only arsenal player who genuinely gets me excited He has the "x" factor (excuse the cliche) that we are sorely lacking this season

fucking hell with some of the quotes on here you'd think u guys were watching tottenham.

i went to the game and apart from the cold, and the twats to my right who were pushing a women and giving her some verbals, the day was a good un.

generally everyone played well, esp RVP diaby adebayor and nasri. Eboue was good in the 1st half and looked more composed (bar his finishing) but denilson looked a little light weight and clichy was at fault for the goal.

but it does appear we ahve turned a corner, adn the players are beginning to adapt to playign without a proper def mid.
and thus understadn their roles more clearly. we fought to the end and deserved a win against a team who offered very little bar spells at the begining of the game and midway thru the 2 half.

bendtner also looked good once he came on, and i feel at the moment he is a far better impact sub than a striekr who can start, and i really hope he makes it as he gets far too much stick.

finally, it was s shame browny didnt give us a wave!! :barscarf:

Watched the game on Setanta and apart from the wobbly 10 mins thought we did well and deserved the win. Generally good omens for the rest of the season, especially if we can get some of the top players fit again but - Eboue was awful, Denilson is far too lightweight, he can't tackle and the other guys often ignore him even when he's the obvious pass. Clichy is just going through a bad spell and certainly he's good enough to persevere with.

Anyway 1-3 is 1-3 and 3 points :) and Spurs are bottom again

Although the win wasn't perfect, we did deserve it.

RvP was arguably our best player, and its refreshing to see Ade back scoring vital goals.

Hull's goal was fortunate in that a deflection off Clichy maden an averge cross far more dangerous than it should have been. However that dosent excuse a critical mistake by Clichy and the midfield for giving the ball away too easily.

But, 3 points is 3 points :)
