He is NOT world class!!!

A scorer of great goals, but not a great goalscorer.

Too inconsistent.

Slows moves down too often.

Gets into tight situations other players would avoid.

Selfish.

BUT

Certainly not suited to a one front man role in tonight's formation, not be a long shot.
Better as front striker in a 4-4-2, or even perhaps wide if Eduardo plays, who is far more clinical a finisher.

i've been saying abouth this for ages and every time i do i get gunners saying he's world class etc but he frustrates me so much with his awful: corners, lack of preditor instinct and poor work rate

the peak of our corners with van persie was when he used to do that fancy 1-2 with fabregas so he got a different angle to swing it in.

for a player who has a magic left foot its not very often he brings it into play.

i can't remember any of his corner been quality even when cesc was helping him. Agreed that he was in a bad position tonight which points the finger at wenger again why oh why was bendtner not upfront with robin on the wing

He"s nowhere near world class.
He has been our best striker this season Why?because the other two Greedy and Bendtner(hopeless again tonight)have been shite
RVP is not a team player he plays for RVP FC
His set pieces were dire

Clearly he shouldn't be a lone striker ,that's not his game, just as Bendtner is not a left winger, Eboue a right winger, nor Song a defensive midfielder. AW picked him up there alone tonight and he ran his bollocks off without much success but fuck me there was none for him to have. He had the balls for a penner and at 1-0 down it needed to be scored, balls of fucking steel.

RVP is the mainstay of our team for years to come. Wake the fuck up will you?

Number 5 you are one of the better writers on here, so I mean you no disrespect but;

I really disagree with you about RvP, for the reasons I have stated in my above post.

Donaldo sums it up when he says this guy plays for RvP FC.

He is not my idea of a mainstay of the team for years to come, no way.

We would be well to sell him, Adebayor and Bendtner.

Build a new strikeforce around Eduardo, Arshavin, Nasri and Walcott.

We then add in two players for the three we sell, making sure they are fast, tall and strong to give us a physical option, to complement the trickery and finesse of the others.
