As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

For a decade teams were bullied by United and United always got away with it, that day, we completely stood up to them and proved we wouldn’t back down. Did things go too far? Maybe, but I think psychologically that actually hurt United for a year or two. I also remember every gooner I know saying at the time that they would happily take any suspensions the FA handed out because the Keown moment was worth it on its own.
Other than that, Overmars goal was immense, you just knew we were going to take the title after that!

barthez fuckin up TWICE at highbury...that really turned our season around as we had been shockin up till then
willy gallas passion equaliser last season and cesc shoutin in rio's face F*CK OFF!! at the time i thought that swung the league in our favour but it werent to be
Sorry to be Mr Picky, Alex, but it wasn't a header but a back post slot in with his right foot, from a Rixy cross, who in turn received a pass from Brady who danced through several challenges beforehand.
Got to be Wembley 79, right behind the goal, upper tier and being in despair as the cross for Alan Sunderland's winner came over which suddenly became unconfined joy After that a great night at The Gunners followed by a great sunday in Islington for the parade back in the days when the FA cup meant a lot. Another one for me is the 4-0 home win in our 70/71 double year, was'nt there but vividly remember watching it on MOTD. Mclair's penalty miss was another classic And of course winning the league there in 2002 can't be left off the list, not a bad night that one

I was also in despair, couldn't believe it when they pulled it back to 2-2. I seem to remember that our winner came at the opposite end.
We also went down The Gunners and there was a local t.v. crew there, remember seeing myself going mad in front the camera and seeing it later on t.v. fleetingly. (things you do when you're young eh?)

I remember The Gunners being absolutely mobbed and mental and being soaked in beer all night. The usual stopping the traffic on the Blackstock Road was going on and the old bill were'nt so hot on stopping it in those days I also remember some clapped out old banger with what seemed like about 20 gooners either in it or on the roof going past a few times til it conked out for good I remember that my mate decided it was a good idea to drive down to Trafalgar Square about midnight, not advisable after the amount we had to drink but as you say, the things you do when you're young

Yes, I was only errrmmm 14 at the time, and it only took a couple of pints to send me pie-eyed. Memory of the time after is slightly hazy, but I do remember getting back to watch it on t.v. later on in the evening, probably just after Starskey and Hutch.....
