And spuddy, they don’t look that similar…

Great post B.T. agree, and about the comparison also...BT wrote:The reason Villa and Everton always come up slightly short is because they don't have the money and therefore the depth in squad. Everton played most of the season without strikers so they were just as unlucky as we were, if not more so! We are increasingly looking the same level as Everton and Villa whereas a few years ago we only had Man U to worry about. At the moment, the only difference is that Wenger's reputation and past success (and the fact that we are in London) attracts a slightly higher caliber of player still. But that reputation is on the wane and for the first time, players Arsenal would like to keep are leaving in their prime. And all the while the likes on City continue to strengthen. We could have easily been in for Given and Barry if we wanted but we obviously don't have the money and/or the same draw to compete. Those players are not just picking up a nice pay packet but also being sold a vision/plan of ambition (and a chance to play with world class team mates) that City have and we, by the messages the board send out, don't.
And spuddy, they don’t look that similar…

Think thats a fair post BT, but isnt that one of the main critisicms of Arsenal? The point is we have the ability to get there, and maintain our position there and it gets overlooked too easily by some people.franksav63 wrote:Great post B.T. agree, and about the comparison also...BT wrote:The reason Villa and Everton always come up slightly short is because they don't have the money and therefore the depth in squad. If by Hughes & Bush being similar you mean Hughes is a fanny pube, then yes Spuddy I see your point! Mark Hughes is indeed a walking, talking c*nt follicle. Worse still, he's Welsh.SPUDMASHER wrote:Actually, as the thread starter, can I point out that it was a humourous thread about the fact that Hughes and Bush look quite similar.Exiled-Gooner wrote:Getting back on the subject of man shitty'smillions, the difference with them and chavski is the manager!!!moanringhole threw money at players leftright and center but hughes if allowed to run the team and choose HIS players then maybe in 2 season's there could be a real threat to all the top 4 clubs unlike chavski who might have brought 2 titles haven't really threatened to win it again. Also another arab geezer i believe is going to buy pompey so are we going to see them become a threat in the near future???????![]()

Hello mate, had to have the arvo off as was busy at work and hit the bar when I finished.Swale_Gooner1985 wrote:
Put a poll up about myself? that is one of the saddest suggestions i have ever heard, i am actually starting to wonder if you are a bit simple?
oh thats annoying, as i really wanted to be mates, im so interested in what you have to say, i could listen to you for hours
i just wish i spent my whole time moaning about how bad Arsenal are, i really wish i could believe that Man City and Villa are far superior because they have bought a couple of people, guess i will never be able to, one can only dream...for now i will just have to see that Arsenal are clearly worthy of a top four place in the premiership and with one or two reinforcements can go further to back where we belong
work is over for me now so i am off to the gym, and they dont have a laptop so i will end with this post for the day, im hoping both Andrey and BDB ontinue to comment on this thread to drown out the total nonsense you are talking
have a nice afternoon
Come on you Gunners!!
