I never saw this game Aug"y..BUT if this was our midfield then its a disgrace.
A week before the opening game FFS!
We should be playing players who should be starting against Everton.

OR...is this gonna be the midfield?
To be fair on this point **** our 1st half midfield was Cesc, Song & Diaby.
The team out in the second half was the players who will be on the bench next season and will play if someone is missing so call it what you want but they are not good enough to play top class football. (yet)

But Fabregas, Denilson, Song, Diaby and Nasri would ALL have played before those 3, so I don't think you can read anything into fielding that midfield trio at the end of a pre-season friendly, can you?
Anyway, I thought Ramsey did okay, really.
Whilst Gibbs will definately NOT play there again all season in the first team as he's a left back, and Merida is expected to go on loan soon, anyway.
What does concern me, and is a problem with our system, is that when we're on the back foot, our lone striker looks VERY lonely! - and Eduardo and Van persie aren't blessed with great pace or strength, so they NEED help!
Only pre season, players only getting fit, your season
isn't defined in August,BLAH,BLAH,BLAH!
All the same old chestnuts will be brought up again
and all will try to cover up the fact that we will do
fuck all again this season with these players, its as
simple as that.Wenger hasn't done a single thing to
address the glaring problems in defence nor accepted
the fact that his "Young players" just aren't good enough.
Personally I will excuse bad performances to an extent from the established players cos they are only playing for match fitness where as the fringe players should be busting a gut trying to jump into wengers thoughts but that didnt really happen tonight. However as I said already it is the tactical formation and system that wenger is using that is causing me most worry - maybe, just maybe it is a system that we could have played with an TA6/Keown partnership at the back and with PV4, Petit and 1 of parlour/edu/pires cos we would have had enough strength physically to play that way but with this bunch of leightweights we are being pushed around all over the park and are neither a 4-4-3 or a 4-5-1

Fucking joke innit mate. Think i should turn up at the Emirates on Monday demanding a refund on my season ticket, unless we sign 3 more players.
