Everton v Arsenal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Anybody else find it amazing that it took the official club site 3 days to confirm the elephant washers departure but 1 good result in the league and the match report is there within the hour

and the official site only confirm things when they are "official".

just because something is reported as a done deal in the gossip column doesn't make it so :banghead:

BTW, we criticise our own supporters. The Everton lot who left with twenty minutes to go are just as disgaceful as our early leavers.
Not really, because our fans leave 10 minutes early when we're winning

May I suggest that you find a site that is more suitable to your needs, we have had enough of *word censored* like you joining then complaining. Go find yourself a politically correct site and enjoy yourself but fuck off from this sie cos your sort aint welcome

To be honest I've never been comfortable with the 'Elephant Washer' put down. Not because I'm politically correct - far from it - but because it isn't very good or funny!! Although having said that, I admit that I found the 'Opening A New Branch In Manchester' signature amusing.

However, I agree that there are loads more ways we can take the piss out of the greedy traitor crunt than copying a not very clever chant started by our neanderthal neighbours down the road. Indeed, there was a thread recently consisting plenty of good chants against Ade which could be utilised. 8)

In the history of our club we have had many totally shit players play for us and many total dickheads play for us but only once in all my time supporting The Arsenal has any player pissed me off more than the *word censored* that is greedybarndoor  I dont mean to offend anybody here but at the same time I do that that the *word censored* is fair game to the point that almost anything goes and I dont think that I have crossed that line. I(t is amazing how many worse comments have passed by here lately without a word of complaint but insult a *word censored* that used to play for us and all of a sudden there are complaints

as great as our result was, i still feel if urinal or thieving scouse *word censored* had played today we wouldn't have been 1st. still, least they put us ahead of spawny chelski and we got to see alan hansen struggle through giving us praise!

Wayno, I think you don't mean this. As other people have said, we hate the *word censored* but it wasn't the elephant washing side of his character but the the fact that he was a greedy venal *word censored* that made us dislike him. I think I've seen enough of your posts (god help me) to know you're not a racist. Please tell me I'm right when both of us are sober.

Anyway I always predicted an Arsenal win today.   so we are all rose tinters now!
