watching the troubles at upton park...

remember it kicking off after that Kanu/Overmars goal vs Sheffield United in the cup. Don't think it was as bad as upton Pk tho.

arsenal spurs in the clock end

tons of seats ripped up and thrown all over the gaff

I think the last time there was serious violence inside Highbury was in 2003/2004 ? - and we weren't involved

Chelsea had The Clock End for a cup match and OB tried to arrest one of their main faces down by the teas bars.

one of their firm figured out that there were no cameras under there and 50/60 had it with the OB for about 10 minutes before the riot squad arrived and they legged it up into the seats.

no arrests and about 15 injured coppers

That was 95/96 season wasn't it, a 0-0 boredraw?

Was in the Clock End quite near to the knuckle draggers and was with my sister. Got out of there pretty sharpish :o

The last pitch invasion I remember was a half hearted attempt after the ECWC 2nd leg against PSG in 94 but that was more from utter joy rather than anything malicious! (or the noise from those bloody massive drums in the corners under the Jumbotrons whipping people into a frenzy)
