MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chavs scored in the 90th min to win, they might be old farts but they are doing the job better than we are at the moment. :banghead:

In light of that, I just restrained myself from posting something that may have been problematic.

In short, it involved the curb stomp scene from American History X, and the suggestion that Manchester must surely have curbs.

Now we have 2 defeats in 4 games.

Our players have no bottle De Jong ran the center of midfield today and Bellmay tracked back at least 4-5 times and won the ball. Fabregas was nowhere to be seen today and Clichy was run ragged by Wright-Philips all day. we need to go on a run of 7-8 wins in a row to stand any chance of competing.

Clichy dominated SWP for the majority. How are people seeing something so vastly different?

has anyone seen the post match interviews?

just saw a clip on sky sports, Ade is already apologising for his celebration, Hughes unsurprisingly is defending him.

Fuck everything, we deserved to win today, it was never a 4-2, if AW would have bought, we wouldn't be in this position.

We should have a 100% record now :banghead: :banghead: It's not totally gloom and doom, but I feel, we're see more games like today, for the rest of the season and the previous, comfort zone of 4th place looks, at this moment , a pipe dream. :?

We fanny about too much in midfield, and it's only when we're chasing games (leaving ourselves open at the back) that we look like scoring.

Think you are wrong. Clichy stopped him on several occasions, it was only when we got desperate that SWF had space to work.

Seriously n7 I know that we are all very pist off right now but we have enough valid reasons to complain without unfairly slating clichy :(

Clichy makes two many mistakes that lead to goals.
When is Wenger going to learn Diaby is not a left winger and Bendtner not a right winger?

But dont worry Arsene Knows :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Don, we should have won today. we were the better team, but how many times are we going to keep saying this?

Some of the personel that we currently have are just not good enough, when times get a bit rough, today was a game we would never have lost 4 seasons ago. Flakey is a good word for some of them...
