you are too stubborn, mr wenger

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

you are too stubborn, mr wenger

in the past couple of seasons we've played games where we've conceded 3, 4 or even 5 goals...this was unheard of before recently, and all because wenger was/probably still is too stubborn to sort out the defence and the keeper...we have a surfeit of small tricky attackers/midfielders.
What characterises wenger these days for me is his reaction on the touchline yesterday when ebuoe hoofed a decent chance over the bar at the end. Wenger looked ANNOYED AND SURPRISED!!! this guy's a decent right back, he's NOT A RIGHT WINGER and never wanted to be...when he was booed by fans he was playing on the LEFT wing...imagine putting Nasri at right back - we'd boo him too after a while.
the manager is too stubborn to see that he can't just slot players into positions, like he tries with bendtner. What can you get from a man who's 6 foot 2 and turns like an oil-tanker on the right wing?? ferguson doesn't play gary neville on the left wing, does he. Any manager who picks denilson week in and out is deluded...notice how no clubs are ever linked with denilson, or that he hasn't played for brazil. Yet last year he played about 50 consecutive games for wenger...he's fine as a youngster, but are we going to win anything with him? No. So when will he replace this little boy...
just had to get that off my chest.

We can keep wishing but as long as Le Boss is there calling the shots, our cries will never make a difference.

On a sidenote, I'm curious as to how Wenger will respond to the Adebayor stamping on RvP incident. He's been quiet since the game yesterday... Is he going to say something like "I don't think it was deliberate and accidents happen in football and this was one of them"? He'd better not say something like that, or I'd be pissed as hell.
