If we keep a strong defence then I can see a cricket score

Good defensive record, poor scoring record.

Can we get Ladbrokes to run a book, much like time of first goal, as to when you get checked out then?

I'm in for a fiver on 45-51 minutes.

Might do my mad 7-0 bet for this one... so that will be 7-1 then, with them scoring in the 92nd minute with their first shot... Why do you mock me Paddy Power you bastardhole??!!

Boring for a second, there are major problems on the trains again. I've started a sticky.

We seldom excell after the Interlulls - :(

I worry about injuries/sendings off and the like. I have an uneasy feeling about this. It certainly won't be a formality.

It will depend how many players come back injured from international duty. it must be frustrating for AW to see his players comeback crocked just two days before a game

Perhaps, but Birmingham at home is a relatively easy start. Then we have AZ away (a game we can afford to lose) - so by the time we play West Ham (a) the international break shouldn't be a factor, nor an excuse.

funny thing, i was taking a shit a few moments ago and thinking about our squad. i think that even if we lose a few of our players to injury, as long as its offensive players, we can cope quite well. for the attacking 3 we have rvp who surely won't come back injured and eduardo who'll be returning from injury plus the following possibilities: walcott, wilshere, vela, bendtner, rosicky, arshavin. if we lose 2 or 3 we can still have a quite strong attack. for the midfield there's ramsey, fabregas, diaby, wilshere, song and rosicky. again, lose 1 or 2 and we can cope with it (as long as its not diaby and song, cause then we'd be without DMs).
fullbacks we have plenty and goalkeepers we have 3, and only szczesny will play for his country.
the problem lies on the centrebacks. if we lose gallas AND vermaelen, then we're fucked :? it's sylvester + senderos at the back  :duh: :worried:

although Im expecting us to tear this lot to shreds, dont forget they got a 1-1 draw at the Emirates whilst we were flying high before drawing 2-2 at St Andrews two years ago.

The 1-1 draw was unreal though. One was traffic throughout and wasnt it Senderos' poor marking that cost us the goal?
