As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He admitted he cheated you plum.
Where??????????????????????????
Watch Sky sports news
This is what he said -
Yes, there is a handball but I am not the referee,"
"I didn't deliberately do it , but it was handball.
"I'm in the box, there are two defenders in front of me. The ball bounced off my hand, the referee did not see it and I played on.
"It doesn't change anything to the fact that I'm happy we have qualified.
Saying it was not deliberate is a LIE. And that my friend is why he is a CHEAT.
Yes and they show a clip of him openly admitting to Richard Dunne that he cheated.
Maybe you should have a bit more respect for the greatest player ever to play for us.
Doesn't affect Henry's status as an Arsenal legend in my eyes, pretty sure we sold him to Barcelona in 2007.....
Not meant as a wind-up or anything, but I'd have rathered the Irish won last night and Bac, Billy and maybe Clichy got the summer off, knowing how the world cup effects players the following season.
Can I just say that I can totally accept the fact that henry is and always will be an Arsenal legend in most fans eyes and I 100% agree that last nights events should not affected the way Irish (or english) Gooners view him but to crown him as the best Arsenal player ever ahead of Brady & Bergkamp is shocking
has anyone mentioned that that dirty spud robbie keane was blown for blatant handball about 6 times (exageration, probably 3) in the very same match?
do people not watch games for 90 mins anymore? people discussing it at work and dont even have sky and havent even seen it, morons, what a joke.
yeh he handballed it, ive done it before instinctively when the ball has bobbled up, it was very wrong, but how can an irishman label him a cheat with that little fart up front.

How? Pretty straight forward. This Bergkamp v Henry argument really buggers me. Henry is the clearly the better footballer . Anyway i love em both.

Only a slight exageration cos by my reckoning he got pulled up for handball on 5 seperate occasions and like I have said from the get go handball is handball regardless of where the offence occurs or what results from it. There is no point bashing the ref either cos imo he had an excellent game last night bar that one crucial decision. We lost and we will get over it but this bullshit about replaying the game or shit like that really gets on my tits and only prolongs a saga that should be put to bed within 24 hours by all concerned
"...if it was Robbie down the other end we would've tried it, you just expect the referee to see it..."
Let's admit it, perhaps ONLY 1 player outta 100 wouldn't have tried it. Even that I doubt when it comes to going to the grandest tournament in football.

but there's nothing in this world that i hate more than injustice.
ok, i hate adebayor more than injustice. but then it's the second thing i hate the most

Shite way to lose a game.
Henry will always be a arsenal legend for me, I am pretty sure most professional footballers would of gone the same thing..
I do feel sorry for the Irish boys but lets face it no one cheated, the ref/linesman never seen the ball bounce off his arm. How many players have you seen when something like that happens stop playing and say 'oh sorry ref it hit my hand'....none!!! and you never will it's part of the game and it's the officials jobs to spot it and sort it out.
The other point being if the Irish had scored 2 goals the game would've been in the bag. Dump that useless cheating cuunt keane and you might get somewhere.
