HENRY AND GALLAS ROB THE IRISH!!!?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The mans so good even his hand dribbles.

As much as I was dissapointed, overall ireland fucked themselves up. I blame robbie keane and kevin doyle more than Henry for losing that game

I dont suppose you could put a price on that really seeing as it didnt happen that way  At least on my tv it was gallas that scored the winner but its funny the way some people sometimes cant see the wood from the tree's

Interesting quote on the matter from manu Petit...
It's similar to the situation with Zinedine Zidane - he's been sent off 14 times, some for things a normal person in the street might be in prison for. We always found an excuse for Zidane so why can't we find one for Thierry as well?
I don't think that Zidane will have his reputation forever tarnished in the history books because of that headbutt. And that was arguably a much worse offense. Nutting someone or a handball.

So why should thierry be treated any differently??

I have a feeling that this will, eventually, be forgotton by most and only the media and those disgruntled (and rightly so) Irish will remind people.

I think the Irish just have a grudge with Henry cos he roasted the Spuds so many times he single-handedly started the potato famine.

Fucking hell, I see they had a special "live discussion" about the "outrage" surrounding Thierry's handball on the BBC site earlier today

They're acting like a heroin addict came into their house on Christmas day & pissed on their kids. I'm sure there are much more important things the BBC could be discussing. Get over it, they should be looking at the officials just as much, if not more than, Thierry anyway...

This thread would not exist, if the stupid head-up-their-arses football authorities had an extra official in the commentary box with all the replay equipment. To be called upon by the man in charge only IF he wants to.

It's gonna happen in the future. Why the fuck are they dragging their heels? *word censored*.

Radford would hate the inclusion of videos as first they killed the radio star and secondly just leave the leave the game be.

I blame the linesman for not flagging for a blatant offside against two French players. It should be easy to see players offside when it is a free kick. They were not running through on to a pass, they were pure and simple offside and the linesman should have seen it.

This is my final post on the subject unless someone calls me a whinger
Well played Barry. Football is so infuriating makes you wonder why we all love it sometimes.
