Rosicky "out for a while"

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Couldn't they just draft in the referee to play CB for them? :?

arsenal's new injury team:

(no goalkeeper)
sagna, senderos, djourou, clichy
diaby
gibbs, rosicky
bendtner, van persie, eduardo

and i leave walcott in the bench 'cause he deserves it :oops:

it's amazing. it's incredible. our training must be too severe. or the food they give to our players must be poisoned or something. no team in the world has the ammount of injuries we have. i'm not talking about rosicky, he is prone and is coming back from a big one, but about the rest... it's a bloody joke. literally.

Is this the same man we're about to reward with a lucrative new contract. Just an older version of Walcott - over-rated, over-paid, more interested in his country.

When the club wage bill gets revealed it's jokers like this pair that get right on my tits. Probably taking £4m - £5m a year out of the club between them each year. For what exactly - regular injury updates on Arsehole.com and a handful of uninspiring performances

Well, Wengerish is a tricky language, RaM.

From the little I have been able to translate, I can tell you that...

A few days = a few weeks
Interesting injury = 1 year+
Success = 4th
Success = losing semi finalists
success = profit
mental strength = mental weakness
I believe in these players = we're fucked
We have internal solutions = we're fucked.
The answer isn't always to buy = we're skint

Hope that helps.
You forgot:

He will be out 4 to 6 weeks = He's out until the worldcup

I think that more than all those wages paid to the likes of Sosicky, Wallshot, Darnby, Van chocolate-man, there's one guy who should never get a new contract: Gary Lewin. the guy is seriously takin' a piss...
Don't worry French Gun. I can guarantee that won't happen because Gary Lewin left Arsenal and has been with the England national team set-up since last season!!!! :oops: :oops: :lol: :wink:
It's what I meant! She should've kept that Lewin bloke!! :oops: :lol: :wink:

Can't possibly be bad luck can it? I have never understood how a team with a manager so anal he controls their diet seem to get so many injuries. All that money spent on "the best" physicians, dieticians, doctors etc and we can't keep players fit. It's ridiculous really.

To be fair Vidic missed his game because he had a cold so it's not just our lot that are a bit pathetic.

In today's guardian Wenger says:
We pick up more injuries than the other big teams, that is true," Wenger said. "You cannot say there is not a reason for it but we have not found it yet".
Which suggests something is awry.
