Give Almunia his due, I've heard that he can hold up to 5 bottles on a tray with one hand whilst manouvering through tight spaces, sometimes without spilling a drop........... :-P

I'll give it a go then:

Almunia: He is very good in one on one situations and reaction saves but has problems with his decision making. He struggles with crosses from set pieces and with his communication.

Sagna : Very solid no frills right back. Strong, pacey and good aerially and his only weakness could be his crossing which, must be said, has improved this season.

Gallas : Fast strong and experienced. After losing the captaincy he has quietly gone about his business in a professional manner. Can be gotten at in the air and will sometimes be caught to deep. His trademark is his ability to lose his marker in the opposition box and has a nose for where the ball will drop.

Vermaelen : An absolute revelation this season. A tremendous defender with a cannon for a left foot. One of those players you wish you had 11 of. Only weakness is his 'hands on approach' in the box which might go punished at the wrong moment.

Silvestre : After injuries to Clichy, Gibbs and now Traore we are down to our 4th choice left back in Silvestre. He will provide valuable aerial stability from set pieces but will struggle against anyone who can get him turning.

Song: The fact that most Arsenal fans are no longer crying out for a new defensive midfielder is testament to Songs steep rise this season. As strong as an ox but with a deftness of touch, unbecoming of most big men, he has been arguably the outstanding performer for Arsenal this season. He is still very young and can be pulled out of position to easily but that should come with experience and the withering of youthful exuberance.

Ramsey: Showed in Greece that he has all the tools to become the eventual successor to Cesc Fabregas. It is hard to believe he is so young due to the way he demands the ball and runs football matches. Like most young players he is inconsistent and shrinks slightly in the presence of more senior players.

Fabregas : What more can be said about the little magician that is not already known by any self respecting football fan. He has added goals to his game in his new role behind the striker but can drop a little too deep if he is out of the game for too long.

Nasri : Has been thrust into action rather forcefully due to the injury crisis at the club. Flitters in and out of games and he is a lovely footballer but does tend to shirk from the physical battle. Unusually for an Arsenal player he is not afraid to shoot and has a very good final ball. Needs to be a little more direct.

Walcott : Easing his way back from numerous injuries this season and struggling a little for confidence. However, his mere presence on the football pitch changes the way opposition defences set up. Leave any gaps at your peril as nobody is as quick as this kid in full flight.

Arshavin : An Enigma. He can create something out of nothing and is a real match winner. His talent is incredible and creates a buzz of expectation whenever he gets the ball and the expectations are usually met....and some. He can be guilty of looking unmotivated for less glamorous games and question marks remain on whether he is physically up to 2 games in a week.

Possible other starters:

Diaby : Unbeleivably good or unbelievably bad, depends what day it is. Unstoppable when operating at pace in the attacking 3rd and supports the forwards brilliantly but does lack positional discipline. His talent is undeniable so it seems like more of a mental issue that he needs to conquer.

Eduardo : Stormed back from his horrific leg break but has been affected by the media storm which was caused by his 'dive' vs Celtic. When your game is about you finishing ability but you are low on confidence you will struggle which is exactly what Eddie is doing. Needs a goal.....and soon.

Think that makes more sense now. Song's improved massively, but mainly in terms of his ability on the ball. Defensively he still cant tackle or read the game well enough.
