Quite right our squad is crap look where we could be now if we had cover for Fabregas, RVP, Nasri, Rosicky, Walcott, Ramsey, Clichy, Denilson, Bendtner, Wilshere, Gibbs, Djourou, song and Eboue.

If we had players to come in when they were out injured or away at the ACN we would be top of the league or somewhere near it by now.
Not looking to pick a fight here but that is a load of bollocks!
We are 'somewhere near it' at the moment and may well be 'top of the league' come Wednesday night.
Sorry my fault is there a sarcasum emoticon? I should of put it at the end of my post

As has already been pointed out we have been very lucky where our injuries have occured with the exception of left back where it is unheard of really for a team to need to resort to 4 different left backs in the 1st half of a season  However maybe you should analysise our injury crisis in the striking positions where it has taken just 2 injuries to leave us hamstrung (no pun intented) with only short, leightweight players to fill the void :( You list all those players that were injured but the key there is that (a) most have been missing at different times and (b) most are actually squad players more than first 11
Now look at the manure situation where at one stage they had a back 4 containing 3 midfielders

True. We replaced Kolo with Tommy but we never actually replaced the mercenary we sold.
Sadly Wenger will argue that Walcott, Vela Arshavin are also strikers! Giving us 5 in total. 6 when you count Eduardo but it's not really recovered.

In truth we have 2 strikers at the club.

I hope and would like to think that Eduardo is still building his confidence. I've just this feeling that he's due to go onto a proper hot streak and goal run soon.

Boomer the strikers you listed are all short arsed, and in some cases unproven players, and these guys are not equipped to deal with physical defenders or the hopelessly high balls that almunia keeps delivering  Our squad is nowhere near strong enough and only a fool or wenger (one and the same ? :? ) would argue otherwise

I didn't say our sqaud was good enough to win the league, just that its better than a lot of people have made out. IMO the squad has done excellently considering the amount of injuries, we've dropped very few points points since the chelsea game and this without fab and RVP for a long period.

I give credit where its due

The real test will start at Stoke and the subsequent league games, this will stretch us to the limit, and everything could look a lot less rosey in 3-4 weeks time. Then again if we come through these games in good shape, then a lot on here myself included, may yet have to admit to being wrong.
