Numerically we can still win the Premiership.

Numerically, we can also finish outside the top four.

I don't like thinking about which of the two seems more likely to happen.

Liverpool will beat us on Wednesday!! Rubbish thought, but think it'll happen! We need 5 top drawer players to compete with chelski and manure! A goalkeeper should be his no1 priority, along with a winger to take Theo's place who has an end product, a centre back to rotate with Gallas and Vermaellen, a centre mid to compete with Song and Diaby to help Cesc and a proper, proper world class striker to partner VP! With that injected in the team we would win loads and could claw this back. Without, we have possibly 5/6 world class players, and the rest are squaddies at best, and they are not up to the task. With 5 of these players we would have won the league the past 2 years I think, and have ended our wait for European hurt:

Sorenson
Hangeland/Steven Taylor
Yaya Toure/Arteta
Ribery/David Silva/Aguero
Edin Dzeko/Chamakh/David Villa

Some of these names people think are untouchable, but I bet you 7 out of 10 of these names move clubs this summer!!! Whats to stop us from picking a few?? Oh yes, a manager who's happy with 3rd and reaching a quarter or semi in Champs League, and a board who love his ideals, as they can keep all our money!! I am effing sick of it!! If Cesc leaves this summer, which is looking more and more likely, I will not renew my season ticket and spend my £1400 on something that'll make me happy instead of this frustrated!! And it will be Wenger and the board that push him out, as we could buy players so he would stay and win things at this club!! End of. Rant Over....

ive got a feeling were going to be seriously scrapping for 4th, especially if liverpool just get a point against us. man city with 2 games in hand, win both and theyre only 2pts behind us. liverpool are starting to grind results out now as well. i also think porto will knock us out, so another massively miserable season which had so much promise. wenger out!

I have United and Chelseas both with 85 points from their games and us with an optimistic 77.

I do love a fellow optimist!! good lad! I definitely think we still have a chance, but i dont expect us to win it now!

Although both Man Utd and Chelsea have very tough tests coming up, where they COULD drop points, look at the teams they have dropped points to, the likes of Wigan, Burnley, Hull, Birmingham etc... so who says they wont again? We are 99% of the time fine against this type of team so im confident about our fixtures now

Man Utd next two games are massive! could easily drop 4 points there! who knows?!

Had we drawn yesterday it would be more realistic, but as i say, you just never know who is going to drop points to who?!

I was wondering when we last lost 3 in a row and was suprised to find that it wasn't that long ago....

Sunderland (a) lost 1-0,
Chelsea (h)lost 3-0,
Man City (a) lost 3-0 (Carling Cup)

Notice also we failed to score in each of these 3 games!

God you're deluded but I admire your optimism.

The Invincibles could have pulled back a 9 point deficit but what is the chance of the 2010 shower of prima-donnas doing it??

No bloody chance!!

Did Wenger say it would take 89 points to win the league this year?

If we win EVERY remaining game until the end of the season we will finish with 88 points!

13 games = maximum 39 points and we are currently on 49.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH Mr WENGER YOU SHOULD HAVE FORSEEN THIS!
